"I rented this apartment for about a week during business presentation in Kingston. The staff were helpful, detailed and kind. Also, the location and general layout is very safe and well-kept. I appreciated having laundry appliances and a full kitchen with pots and pans so that I could cook, too. Security guards at gate 24/7 plus staff on WhatsApp made me feel like everything was always taken care of. Also, I was concerned about mosquitos, but the apartment is set up so that they basically...

"This property was an unexpected great find in Robins Bay. Just 3 minutes from the fork in the town. The view of the ocean, the comfortable mattress, the lovely fruit trees and the spacious living room and verandah helped to make our stay a very pleasant one.
Aleisha was extremely responsive and her husband Wray and Miss Chunny took care of every detail.
The Jamaican breakfast that Chunny made was extremely delicious and it came with a very generous serving of local fruits for a reasonable...

"The location is excellent very quiet neighborhood. I wish I could prepare at least breakfast.
I wish it had a stove/hot plate and a kettle to qualify as home away from home. Nikki is very nice and always available. Overall I did enjoy my stay."

"This is an older building but a recently renovated apartment. I travel to New Kingston for business every other week and to enjoy the nightlife after. At first, it was all hotels, but the dynamics of lodging have shifted and I have done apartments almost exclusively for the past 2 years. I have stayed at enough apartments to conclusively say this one is the better of them all. Most New Kingston one bedroom apartments were built as studios. Most New Kingston one bedroom is so cramped with a...

"Beautiful modern grounds. Reception are friendly, nice gym n pool. They left a nice package of tea/coffee and hot chocolate which was a nice touch. Central location too - I would definitely stay here again"
"Few teething problems which were dealt with but overall an enjoyable, relaxing stay. Breakfast being included was an good start to the day and restaurant food was tasty. The property itself could do with minor upgrades but it was being painted during my stay."
"After an incredibly disappointing experience at another property, finding Jamaica Palace felt like discovering a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality, and the difference was immediately apparent.
The property is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, impeccably maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking views. The grounds are lush and meticulously cared for, creating a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind despite the stressful start to our trip. Every area of the property reflected pride of ownership and attention to detail.
Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected. Everything was well maintained, and the overall experience restored our confidence after what had been a very difficult situation.
Beyond the beauty of the property, the staff made us feel valued and cared for. Their kindness and professionalism turned what could have been a ruined trip into a memorable one.
Jamaica Palace truly was the saving grace of our vacation. If you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque property with outstanding hospitality and stunning views, I cannot recommend it highly enough. We are incredibly grateful to have found it and would not hesitate to stay there again."
"Geejam was a breath of fresh air after cancelling & leaving another property in Portland early & concluding our vacation here. The staff was very kind & hospitable. We definitely enjoyed the free breakfast daily & the food was good. We had a good time at dinner as well & drinks were made well. My only gripe is the gap under the doors of the rooms, which allowed stink bugs to crawl in nightly. That has to be addressed a.s.a.p.! No one enjoys creepy crawly things in their rooms & potentially in their bed. My boyfriend's family also rented one of the villas for the week, Panorama, which was a lovely experience as a large group gathering together. Overall a good experience & if visiting Portland again, we would definitely stay at the Geejam again."
"Very tropical eco retreat vibe. Everything is solar. There are actually 2 pools and they are invitingly warm. Breakfast is served a bit late so if you are an early riser enjoy the sunrise while you wait. The views are breathtaking and I'll be back to see the final reveal."
"Always a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and the resort is eclectic and filled with African Art. My children really loved the infinity pool with the view and the beach area. We love that the Queen of Sheba as it has so much space to easily accommodate a big group. The property is quiet and peaceful. You definitely need to be fit to be able to move around the property. I would definitely recommend for families with children, etc. this is our 2nd time residing here and it has always been great experience"
"The location and the grounds are beautiful. The garden area with a view of the island and san san beach is gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there weren't many guests there as its more off season when we went. The breakfast is delicious and the driver contact they gave us was great and took us everywhere we needed to go whenever we needed. The villas are spacious and have everything you need. If you want to stay somewhere more in the heart of Jamaica I would highly recommend staying here."
"Wonderful location, clean, with a very comfortable bed. Older property with only somewhat noisy standing fans to cool - would benefit from quiet ceiling fans.
Apparently continental breakfast is complimentary in the rooms, but we weren’t offered this and there were no details about in room dining offered. There were no easy options to get extra water or snacks etc and only one small bottle of water per person per day. You can order extra from the bar, but that seemed to be an unexpected request. There is no options in the immediate area, so I’d bring snacks and soft drinks/water with you from the airport or in your luggage.
Restaurant food was lovely and the view is breathtaking! We would definitely go again, just with a little preparation."
"Breakfast was lovely and freshly made
Staff was plesant helpful and it was great being able to have use of the kitchen to warm food, large fridges to be able to keep drinks and food refrigerated"
