"Despite the somewhat turbulent weather conditions we had a pleasant stay in Lauris. The house was well-equipped and large enough to spend a rainy afternoon or two. Luckily we could also use the pool later that week, which was readily cleaned and set up when we asked for it, even though it was already late October. The house is somewhat outside Lauris, so expect to use the car for groceries etc."

"Staying in an 18th century chateau is a not to be missed experience. the photos accurately depict the property. Be prepared, though, for some relatively minor inconveniences such as antique wiring, limited wi fi, uncomfortable beds etc. We spent a week there, enjoyed our stay, and were happy to move on."

Spacious, clean, and the communication with Francis was great, he is a very friendly and welcoming man. A lot of privacy on the property and the garden is completely sealed (great for dogs). "Location: The house is located between the airport in marignane and Marseille. The sea in L'Estaque is very close. Supermarkets can be reached by foot in 20 minutes. The house: it has everything you need, even for longer stays (we stayed for 3 months). The documentation lists many possible destinations and everything about the interior. If your car is lowered, you may have trouble getting onto the parking area (14cm was not enough in our case). Public parking is free and there are almost always...

"Enjoyed our stay with the welcoming host family. This host family was very kind and helped us find something important to our son and was willing to go out of their way to assist us. Beautiful garden area to relax in with pool and place for kids to play different sports and run around. Lovely breakfast provided by host on outside patio. All the necessary accommodations for a family. Memorable stay!"

The only issue we had was that the wifi at the property was not functioning but apart from that it was a great villa in a fantastic location and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking to have a holiday in a tranquil setting."
