The Palace of Versailles, or simply Versailles, is a royal château in Versailles in the Île-de-France region of France. It is also known as the Château de Versailles. Six of the works on display came from "the vast private collection of François Pinault, France's wealthiest art collector." "I arrived fairly early so I was able to place my luggage in the secure storage. The staff that greeted me was above and beyond courteous and helpful. I was able to check in earlier for a fee. The room was perfect. Compact but clean and had everything needed such as a mini fridge and kettle. The shower had great water pressure and was hot. The location was phenomenal. I was able to walk to shopping and many restaurants. I will say the crowd on the street could be heard on a Friday night. So if you’re a light sleeper that could be the only downside. But any future Paris trips this will be my go to place."
