About this property
Gîte du Battoir - Saint Jean LE Vieux
In the heart of this small hamlet of a few souls, an ideal place to recharge your batteries. And if this stay were synonymous with walks, discoveries, etc.... Then let's start with the hiking trails starting from the cottage. Very beautiful and pleasant hikes that cross varied landscapes: vineyards, chestnut trees, fir trees,... More discovery with the Jujurieux Silk Museum; one of the largest Lyonnaise houses of the 19th and 20th centuries. For the intrepid, why not the captivating adventure of the 18 treetop adventure courses in Ambérieu-en-Bugey, with varying levels. Thrills guaranteed with acrobatic activities at height. Still an outing idea? Do you know the secrets of the Cuivrerie de Cerdon? Immerse yourself in this site where their expertise is revealed by new technology. Delve into the secrets of the workshops and learn more during the demonstrations that will be given to you. Let's now discover your home for your stay. A house with exposed yellow Varey stone. But let yourself be lulled by the Oiselon, a small river, at the foot of the gîte (not on the property) and relax in the small, detached garden located opposite the gîte. It is reserved for you. Access to the gîte is from the outside and opens onto a living room and its lounge area with an ornamental fireplace. Adjacent to it is a separate, equipped kitchen with access to the small balcony overlooking the river. Two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The basement provides space for strollers, sports, and leisure equipment. Travel light: the rental is all-inclusive - beds are made upon arrival, towels, utilities, and cleaning are included. All rooms are on the first floor: two bedrooms: one with a 160*200 cm bed and a second with a 90*190 cm bed and a 140*190 cm bed. Semi-detached with owner. Oil heating. Two balconies. A garden and a courtyard not overlooked. Non-smoking cottage. Superb vineyard house on the edge of a watercourse. Comfortable, and close to hiking trails.
