Great beach location and comfortable family stay

Lovely stay - very welcoming owner and wonderful location right on the beach. We had 2 interjoining rooms and a little balcony so perfect for a family of 4. Spacious and comfortable rooms though the only thing was the bathrooms smelt of damp a little

On the Channel

Overnight stay - The location is simply stunning! The hotel itself is a great spot to see the coast. The room was fine - not modern or particularly enchanting but the view was great and the amenities were fine. If you have difficulty with stairs our room on the top floor would be a challenge.

Perfect

Villa des Dunes is lovely - a really nice quiet spot right by the beach, in a lovely old building. The host made us and our little dog very welcome, she made us a lovely continental breakfast and even made up a picnic lunch for the next day. We would definitely stay again!

Quality of rooms seemed vastly different: ours was cramped with a serviceable but not very generous bathroom, while the room across the hall (which we saw when the other guest left leaving her door open) had a very generously-sized sleeping area and a bigger and more well-appointed bathroom. Judging only by our room , I would say it was a little dated and tending toward shabby. The grounds which bordered on the seashore were lovely and Mont St Michel could be seen in the distance. Breakfast was first rate. A good deal for the money.

My husband and I stayed at Villa les Dunes and used it as a home base to explore Mont St Michel, Fougères, and Dinan. Laurence, her mother and sister were so nice and welcoming. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay, which was a short five minutes away where we could walk out at low tide to see Mont St Michel. The property is quiet and peaceful and our room afforded a nice breeze with the balcony doors and side window open. Our stay was in September so temperatures were not oppressively hot. The bed was very comfortable and the room well-lit. The decor was simple and rustic, thoughtfully done for a beach property. The breakfast was generous with coffee, tea or hot chocolate; juice; two different, delicious gateaux; yogurt; croissants; applesauce; and cheeses. One evening, we brought bread, cheese and olives back to the villa and sat outside overlooking the bay with its gorgeous view. And a bonus was the adorable, affectionate dog, Chouchou. When we return to Saint-Jean-le-Thomas, we will stay at Villa les Dunes.

Fantastique!

Läget på Villa les Dunes är helt fantastiskt. Huset är byggt 1897 och värdinnan mycket charmig och hjälpsam. Frukosten är omfattande.

아주 멀리 몽셍미셀 수도원이 보이는곳으로 바로 앞에 해변이 있어서 걸어 가볼 수 있다.프랑스 시골 옛집이라 엘리베이터가 없고 시설이 낙후 되어 있지만 유럽의 옛 분위기를 느끼기에는 좋다고 생각함.발코니에서 바라 보는 경치가 좋았어요.

Kein durchgestyltes Luxushotel!!! Ein B&B mit viel Herz im shabbystyle mit französischem Altbauchcharme!! Die Lage direkt am Meer mit Strandzugang ist traumhaft!!! Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich! Das von uns empfohlene Restaurant (le jardin de dunes) ist fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Lage direkt am Strand und die Qualität des Essens waren hervorragend!!

Nuit dans une villa ancienne

Accueil sympa et convivial. Une nuit agréable dans une villa qui alie le charme de l'ancien au contrainte de la modernité. La literie est très correct, dommage que l'alèse qui protège le matelas bouge avec vous. Le petit déjeuner est très correct (un peu cher peut être), celui-ci est agrémenté par une superbe terrasse (quand le temps le permets, c'était notre cas) avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie du Mt St Michel. Je recommande si vous aimez le charmes des demeures anciennes.

Atemberaubende Lage

Eine unglaubliche Lage, direkt am/über dem Strand mit Frühstück auf der Terrasse und Blick auf den Mont St.Michel. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, die sehr freundliche Betreiberin spricht Deutsch. Eine Strandbar mit kleinem Restaurant ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Villa ist ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen. Gerne immer wieder.
