"Located within walking distance from the heart of Bayeux and about a 10 minute walk or few minute drive to the train station - super convenient! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone we interacted with spoke English well and tolerated my broken elementary-level French. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing (kids loved it too) and probably contributed to less room in my waistline."

The room was great: light and clean off a courtyard at the back of the building so it stayed cooler. The kitchenette was very helpful-we could store and prepare some of our own foods. "We stayed at this Hotel in June while visiting all the WW2 sites and doing 3 tours . The hotel was fabulous could not fault , near to everything , the welcome we received from Etienne was amazing from checking in to vacating and helping out with train suggestions and printing out tickets was incredible, the personal touches from this gentleman was truly a hugh asset for the Hotel , and a true professional , polite & friendly . The cleaning team were amazing and our room was cleaned daily . Breakfast was plentiful and fresh . Thank you for a fabulous stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to future guests and if back in Normandy would most definitely book again ."

"The room was clean and adequate for a short stay. There was no fan or way to cool the room. The bed was firm. The breakfast is an additional 15euros and is at best worth 10 euros. It was not stocked well either. The staff was polite. The water machine poured warm water. There was No ice. I KNOW that is not common in Europe but be the "extra"ordinary....not the standard. The location was convenient. We would not stay again if we had other options."
