The location is fantastic, especially if you’re visiting Normandy to see the D-Day sites. Everything I wanted to visit was easily accessible from the hotel. "The place was better than expected! Larger than we thought and more than what we needed. The rooms were all quite large with their own bathrooms and showers - everyone reported comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cutlery. The residence is large enough to easily house a large family or multiple families. We played a couple games of pool and watched tv on the multiple tv sets. There is a small washing machine but no dryer but there are two drying racks. The location was great for our WW2 trip - right in the heart of things with not too much driving. We hit St Michel’s Abbey one day, Utah/Omaha the next and then Juno and the British beaches the last. There is a grocery store within a short drive as well as an excellent bakery. Only thing to maybe mention was the lack of some everyday supplies such as hand soap. What we didn’t have was easily picked up at the store the next day. If you are new to Europe possibly have her show you how to lock and unlock the front door! LolDelphine was a great host, and even helped us book a restaurant one night. The homemade plum jam was a nice surprise and was very good!Thanks for being a wonderful host!"

"La maison est très confortable et il y a tout le nécessaire que ce soit dans la cuisine ou ailleurs. On peut vraiment venir à plusieurs sans être les uns sur les autres vu l'espace et la configuration. Nous avons aussi beaucoup profité du jardin pour manger et lézarder au soleil, le salon de jardin est une invitation à la paresse. Ayant un chat, je peux vous confirmer que le jardin est bien clos. Vous êtes à 2 pas du centre de St Vaast par la petite chasse en face de la maison et la piste cyclable est aussi tout près. Enfin et surtout l'accueil chaleureux de Carole que nous remercions pour ses conseils en matière de restaurants. Nous reviendrons certainement"
