If you are looking for peace and quiet surrounded by fields and woodland, look no futher. Carole and Jose who manage the property were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive and when we had a small problem with one of the toilets the put it right immediately. We thought the surrounding area was lovely and enjoyed the local markets."

"Tout y etait . Nous avons ptis possession des lieux yres rapidement. Nous nous sommes détendus dans la piscine au fur et à mesure des arrivées. Les journées secsont déroulées merveilleuses bien (piscine barbecue, football, boules, soirées dansantes et egalement visite à la ferme pour les petits et vélos rails pour les plus grands). "Nous avons pris la location car nous étions invités à un week-end anniversaire 40 ans d’un ami, à nous, qui avait loué une salle des fêtes à Charny sur 2 soir Et nous avons réservé ce logement pour deux couples et 2 adolescents pour le week-end entier pas besoin de se déplacer en voiture le logement était à 5 bonne minute de la salle des fêtes donc parfait. "We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."

Amazing Cost/quality ratio

"The staff was extremely concerned with our well being and have offered a very nice commercial gesture to compensate for the lack of hot water in our room. Our room faced the city of Gien and the view was really great. One just have to walk accross a bridge to reach the interesting sidewalk with restaurants on the other side of the Loire. I prefer that view (Castle of Anne de Beaujeu) from the one the hotels on the other side of the rriver would have. Highly recommended hotel."
