"The gite was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool and garden area was amazing and our teenagers would have happily spent all day, everyday in there. Location is remote, a car is a must. We also hired bikes but found the area very hilly so you need to be fit! Nearest town is Ambazac which is lovely with shops, a couple of bars and places to eat. "We were staying in France for the World Shearing and Woolhandling Championships in Le Dorat. The house was great. Easy to find, very quiet area and on a working farm. Plenty of space - for little ones to run about, very clean, everything you could possibly need in a house was there. Beds were comfortable. We didn't bring towels with us but you can get them from the owner at a small cost - 4 euros per towel and they were nice soft fluffy towels. There was a hot tub out on the decking area which...

"We stayed here for three weeks in July/August. It was a fabulous cottage with a great layout for our family of 5 (3 children) and was very well equipped. We were met on arrival by the owners (Roselyne and Jean-Louis) who showed us around and explained everything to us. They were both fantastic hosts, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
