Dated and could use an upgrade. It’s a long term solution for some visitors. Staff was excellent. Parking is typically tight as all European parking seems to be. Hotel is in a good location.

I liked the location and the fact that while downtown Grenoble can be noisy at night my bedroom was remarkably quiet. The staff at the reception was very friendly and usefull. However, the rooms/appartments are in serious need of a repainting and refurnishing job. Equipment in the room is disapointing: no suitcase stand, no expresso machine. Cleanliness could also be improved.

The apartments are in the centre of town and a short tram ride from the railway station. I enjoyed my stay in a studio apartment that was well-appointed, if a little dated. I stayed in several Citadines properties in France and the beds are reliably very comfortable. The concierge staff at Citadines Grenoble were welcoming and helpful.

simple budget hotel nice location
It’s a budget hotel with no daily cleaning which was fine for me. The room had a small kitchenette with microwave and dishwasher. The only problem was I smelled cigarette smoking coming from somewhere every night. It was supposed to be non smoking hotel but the rule was not strictly enforced. The location was very convenient- 5 minutes walk from near by tram station.

The service was excellent, all queries were dealt with quickly and I loved the complimentary coffee in the lobby whenever required. Great location, really central.

Ladies at the reception desk are nice and helpful and the location is amazing but these are about the only two positive things. The room was in a really poor condition when we got the keys- the shower curtain and window coverings were dirty, the dishes in the cupboards too. The regular cleaning is once per week- but the supplies that you get which are supposed to last till the next cleaning never do. I ended up buying everything- garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, extra cleaning supplies.... I also thought that it was strange to ask that taxes be paid upfront and not at the end of the stay. I did pay what ever I was asked to, but there was still a difference remaining to be paid at the checkout which was unconvinient to say the least- i was expecting the calculation to be properly done the first time. Instead i was served with a new bill and almost missed my train trying to figure out what the true amount I still owed. The bookkeeping should be improved.

We stayed at the hotel on 2 seperate nights. First stay 21/7/19 was very good. On our return 25/7/19 we were told very late notice that there was no cot available. On top of this we were told that we neede to pay an extra 10 Euros for changes to booking. We did NOT change anything. We were always 2 adults and 1 child (2 year old) requiring a cot. We were offered free breakfast but this poor standard of service left a bad taste. After a good stay before and an enjoyable holiday this has not done your website any favours as far as we are concerned and travelling as a family.

I should preface that this bad review is relevant only if you come to stay in the summer. I stayed in the hotel during the heatwave of June-July 2019. The heat was unbearable. The room had no A/C, no fans, and above all, no mosquito screens. I had to keep the windows open for whatever breeze there was and I woke up covered with mosquito bites. Additionally, the room was not cleaned even once while I was there and the garbage accumulated. On the other hand, if you stay when it is cool, it is in a good location near the city center. It is near the tram stop chavat. There are two supermarkets opposite the hotel and the kitchen is fine. The furnishing are functional. Unfortunately I got little sleep for three nights, and then was covered with mosquito bites for the few hours I did sleep.

It was good to have the kitchen which was well stocked. The room was clean and large. Check in was simple and there was so much around including great food stores and close to the stadium. Really great place and a wonderful town to boot.

very nice apartment hotel
I was there for a project meeting with the university, and picked this hotel in the city center for three nights. Reception was very helpful, and speaks perfect English. I like the room because it has a small kitchen with all the necessary equipment for making your own food. Only surprising part is that there's no free room service if you're staying less than six days. However I don't mind. There's also grocery store across street, and a variety of restaurant in walking distance.

Nice location but not very soundly isolated
It is a nice hotel apartment in a very good location but the sound isolation was awful and I couldn’t sleep well. I could hear people using toilet in other rooms and people closing the doors and walk in the hallway

The hotel is in the ideal location for exploring Grenoble. The town centre is less than a 10 minute walk away and there is a tram line and bus stops very nearby. The room includes a small kitchen, with fridge, hob and everything needed to make a simple meal. There are two supermarkets just outside, so collecting ingredients is very easy. For anybody looking for a simple place to stay, with great amenities, I would recommend this hotel.

The staff made our family very welcome. A major plus was the use of the coffee machine at any time, good quality coffee and chocolate drinks, a real help when waking up with a family to look after. Staff were always very happy to help. Excellent value and excellent stay.

Location is very good, walking distance to Grenoble Old Town and attractions. Staffs are friendly, free coffe and hot chocolate available during receiption opeining hours. Grocery shops are just opposite the hotel. The only down side is the traffic in Grenoble is congested, always trapped in the traffic which go to the hotel.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Property is clean and well located. Unfortunately we happened to be there during hot weather and the room was unbearable at night. There is no AC. Staff brought us a second fan but it was not enough. We had two horrible & sleepless nights. Perhaps this would be a good hotel to visit in the winter but definitely not a good choice in the summer.

Traditional French apartment feel.
Stayed here whilst visiting my daughter who is studying at the university on her year abroad. It is very central & has a fridge & small kitchen area to cater for breakfasts etc. It is just across the road from two supermarkets so very easy for that. We stayed 3 nights and everything very clean but there is no maid service, you are expected to take your own rubbish out and into the basement & there was no towel change during that time but it was fine as there was enough for our group of four. The residence has a feel of a French apartment rather than a hotel and that was a nice touch. There is a safe in the room & ironing board & iron. Sofa bed folded out into a very large double bed & enough room to leave it out all the time therefore making it like a two bed apartment. Would stay here again if had the same numbers in a family group but maybe would choose a hotel if only travelling in a couple. Cost wise it was good value for money.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and allowws us to check in early since the room was already available. Room was clean. Continental breakfast was OK. Good location within walking distance of the town centre and about a minute from the Verdun tram stop
