About this property
Château La Tuilière: 19th-century vineyard manor
## Space
Looking to spend time with family or friends in a beautiful 19th-century Bordeaux manor house, in absolute peace and quiet, or planning a wedding? Château La Tuilière, surrounded by its vineyard in the heart of the "Tuscany of the Gironde", welcomes you.
Château La Tuilière lies on the right bank of the Gironde, 7 km from Blaye, known for its Vauban citadel, 7 km from Bourg, known for its medieval castle overlooking the confluence of the Dordogne and the Gironde, and 2 km from the Gironde corniche.
You arrive at a large white gate, always open, overlooking the vineyard.
You go down a long avenue of plane trees, open the white gate and find yourself on the south-facing terrace in front of the house.
An entrance leading to a large 60 m² living room with a fireplace, then a large dining room seating 14. A second entrance with a toilet and hand basin, and a large fitted kitchen with a majestic fireplace. A large pantry with a second fridge, a wine and vegetable fridge and a freezer. And finally, a billiard room.
Upstairs, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and three toilets:
A large 40 m² air-conditioned suite with a queen-size bed.
A 25 m² suite with a ceiling fan and a king-size bed or two 90 cm single beds.
A 25 m² air-conditioned bedroom with a king-size bed that converts into two 90 cm single beds.
A 22 m² bedroom with a fan and a queen-size bed.
Near the pool, three independent suites open onto a terrace overlooking the pool and the vineyard:
A small suite with a king-size bed that converts into two 90 cm single beds.
A 25 m² air-conditioned suite with a queen-size bed.
A large 40 m² suite with two king-size beds that convert into four single beds.
In the pool area (pool and small enclosed garden), you will also have a large covered summer dining room with a fridge, a dishwasher and an Argentine barbecue. A sunny terrace is also at your disposal.
Household linen is provided (except pool towels), as is a pool technician for the upkeep of the pool (in summer, of course).
Large enclosed terraced garden, half sunny, half shaded, and a private pool (11 x 5 m) surrounded by its own small enclosed garden.
Plenty of walks and bike rides in this region, nicknamed "the little Switzerland of the Gironde" for its hills.
Château La Tuilière faces the Médoc, which you can reach by the Blaye ferry, and is 45 minutes from Bordeaux-Saint-Jean train station and 45 minutes from Bordeaux-Mérignac international airport.
No parties. In summer, one-week minimum stay; off-season, three nights minimum.
Receptions, for weddings or other occasions, can also be held here (cocktails in the garden and dinner in an area next to the garden where a marquee can be set up). Please contact us.
