"This rental was clean and spacious in a nice quiet hamlet about 3 km south of Rousillon with free parking. However at first it was difficult to find as the listing shows it in the center of Rousillon. Once we found it and met the owner, she was very responsive despite the fact that we spoke little French and she spoke little English. This owner gives you the option of bringing your own sheets/linens and doing your own cleaning or you are assessed an additional fee. Aside from the two surprises...

It is within an easy walk to the village and our hostess, Anna, was so helpful with great suggestions on the best places to go in the village for coffee, markets, groceries, bike rental etc. it was perfect for us."

"Lighting a bit dim for reading in the evenings. Rooms beautifully cool, good equipment, everything we needed and lots of space. Nice outdoor eating area. Welcome was friendly and efficient. Beds comfortable. For four people an extra comfortable seat in the main area would be good. Good value for money though. Peaceful but only 10 mins from Buis."
