"The property is one of 4 gites on the site but at no point did this feel intrusive. the terrace had the most wonderful view that over looked the Ardeche mountains. The property was finished to a high standard with all the ammenities to prepare your own food. bed was large and comfortable and very nice modern shower. "Bernard and his wonderful wife gave us such a warm welcome into their thick-walled and fascinating old farmhouse. The house sits at the end of a long lane into a magical forrest. "Tournon sur Rhone is a regular overnight stop for us. Hotel le Chateau is an old building splendidly situated overlooking the Rhone. We were a little concerned that next to the main road it might be noisy but the double (or triple?) glazing was excellent - we didn't hear any traffic. The breakfast options were outstanding. Will definitely re-book on our next trip."
