The staff was helpful and friendly. Having said that, I think that the owners were saving costs by skimping on the cleaning staff and budget. The hotel was not well maintained, and is in need of a good deep clean.

I want to start this off by saying that we have stayed at this facility a number of times throughout the years. This is the first time that we have had major issues. The check-in was longer than expected. Once we got our room, the bathroom was not cleaned. We went back to the front desk and thy gave us another room. That bathroom was worse than the first. We decided not to stay and move to another hotel.

Bed was broken and was a very shape because it sagged so much in the middle. Bedding had brown stains. Floor had white stains on the carpet. Bathroom door was painted two different colors, shower had no hot water after running for at least 5 minutes. Television didn't work. The smell of cigarette smoke was awful even though its a non-smoking hotel.

Check-in requires speaking through a 4" speaker/microphone and passing cards under what I suspect is a bulletproof glass wall, to the Indian family- some of whom who lives and works there. Repainting was done non-professionally, without masking around outlets, switches, etc. and is spotty. Hall ceiling is covered with plastic "tiles" with some fire suppression hanging loosely! I pulled covers back, as I always do to look for bed bugs, etc. and found hairs, grit/dirt (in feet region), and some stains on sheet. Pillows also had hair, some stains, and smelled as if someone had slept on them with unclean hair? Breakfast offering is cereal, milk, bagels, cream cheese acks, muffins, and coffee or juice boxes. There was one pack of hot chocolate as well. I did complain to the receptionist and got an apology. I suggest any who stay here check room thoroughly before getting in bed!
