On this accessible trail, more than 40 metres above the ground, you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind before climbing the “Adlerhorst” (Eagle’s Nest)—an impressive wooden structure connected to the trail. From 82 metres above sea level, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view of the entire island. North of Prora, it’s also worth taking a detour to the Mukran ferry terminal, where you can watch the ships come and go while enjoying coffee and cake at Peters Café.

Swimmers will also find plenty to enjoy: There’s a small swimming spot in Polchow, just 4 km away, while the fine-sand Baltic Sea beaches of Glowe and Schaabe (8–10 km) are among the most beautiful on the entire island.

For your daily needs, the neighbouring town of Sagard (approx. 5 km) offers several shopping options, such as supermarkets and bakeries. In Sagard, Glowe, and Lohme, numerous restaurants and cafés also invite you to linger.
