"We had a great 3-night stay at Rosencat. Our host was lovely and happy to give plenty of recommendations for things nearby. She speaks excellent English which was very helpful for us. Great location with delicious kaiten sushi nearby (Maruishi). It was really helpful to have somewhere to park our car too. Sound travels easily but guests are very considerate of this and we had peaceful sleeps. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great base to explore Sado Island from."

"Beautiful Japanese setting. Loved the tatami mats and the bathroom facilities. Appreciated the hotel driver that picked us up where the bus dropped us off and then gave us a tour and took us to the salt mines the next day."

"民泊なので仕方ないのかもしれませんが、
「給湯に時間を要します」との記載があったが、 シャーワーを浴びて1分もしないうちに水となり寒くてお湯が出るまで待っていたが、5分待てども一向にお湯が出ないので、冷水のまま流しました。
部屋の鍵は一般家庭にある外からコインで開けられるような鍵に、不安な方は古い南京錠を外から付けるようなタイプです。
あまりそういう状況はないかもしれませんが、１人が先に南京錠を外からかけると、中の人は閉じ込められて出られません。
飲食店も佐渡島事態が閉店が早いですが、20時には閉店時間となるところが多く、近場のお店へは階段のある坂道を片道15分位は歩くことになります。帰りは登りの階段と坂道なので更にかかります。
コンビニは片道25分程度でしょうか。
とてつもなく不便な場所なので、全てを終えて寝るだけと考えた方が良いでしょう。
翌日風邪をこじらせた因果関係はわかりませんが、二度と泊まりたくはありません。"
