Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to speak with. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a balcony, air conditioning and a fridge as well as a TV. The common areas were always kept spotless. The shared social area/bar was a great place to relax, grab a drink and some food or play a board game. The hotel has lots of character and is eco-friendly and conscientious. Free filtered water on demand and a little library to borrow books was a lovely surprise. It is a 2 minute walk from the hotel to the beach and about 5 minutes to the Main Street, where there are shops and restaurants galore. The hotel has lots of information about what to do and see in the area and local events that are happening daily. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Bell Repòs. If I ever return to Platja d’Aro I would stay here again. Gràcies!

The property is a lovely converted convent blending old and new; the location is midway between old town (uphill) and the beach (downhill), so plan on getting a good number of steps in, since parking is challenging in both locations. The gym is less than I would like by US hotel standards, but adequate. The breakfast offerings are modest but again adequate. Power options in the room are European standard; there are no USB or USB-C ports in the walls, so bring your converters.

Nice and quiet place to stay. The appartement is somewhat limited in amenities. There was a lack of some essential cookware and plates for someone wanting to cook a basic meal. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for some quiet and relaxing vacations.

Absolutely Exceptional – A Hidden Gem That Feels better than 5 Stars! From the moment I arrived, everything about my stay was simply amazing. Although it’s officially a 3-star hotel, the experience felt like something straight out of a luxury 5-star resort. The staff truly made all the difference. Hector, Uri, Irena, and the rest of the team were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. Their warmth and attentiveness went above and beyond what I expected — it genuinely felt like they cared about making every guest’s stay perfect. The atmosphere was dreamy, like something pulled straight from Pinterest. Beautiful decor, cozy vibes, and thoughtful touches everywhere made it feel both relaxing and inspiring. Another huge plus: the location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the beach! Whether you’re heading out for a morning swim or catching the sunset, it couldn’t be more convenient. One moment that really stood out: on the day I checked out, I had to leave earlier than the usual breakfast time, which was unfortunate because they bake all their pastries in-house — and trust me, they smelled amazing. I let them know I’d be checking out at 7 AM, and to my surprise, the chef and team went above and beyond and kindly prepared a to-go snack/breakfast for me. It honestly didn’t matter what it was — it was the thought and the gesture that meant the most. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’ll absolutely be coming back.
