A variety of people staying at hotel , both srilankans and Europeans. Rooms were spacious . Bathroom could have been better maintained , we were happy overall. "The wifi went down every evening. The breakfast is Sri Lankan vegetarian. I’m completely flummoxed why previous reviewers say the location is good. They seem to believe that its location between the city and the beach is an advantage. It is near nothing. I had to walk a minimum of 30 minutes to find a restaurant or a grocery store. As a result you have to drive to get anything."

"Our group needed 3 rooms. 2/3 rooms the A/C worked. After the first night, the room with non functioning A/C we did let the front desk know. We don’t think any attempt was made to resolve the issue during the day. When we came back to the hotel and raised the issue, we were moved to another room claiming the A/C worked but it was marginally better. Rooms were never cleaned during the day. We had to ask for new coffee cups for the room. There were no towels provided till we asked. It appears...
