Lovely hotel in heart of old town

Lovely hotel in heart of old town with private secure parking (charge). Room was lovely with air con and teas and coffees. Breakfast was good with good choice. Breakfast room was a little cold but we were ok. Definitely stay again and would recommend

I didn’t feel safe

It was a bit scary as when I got there, it didn’t look safe; it was full of people at the entrance, and the main door was closed with a chain. The room was OK, the hotel the night was a bit noisy as people were moving around and you could hear them

Flexible and friendly

I was a late check it. After midnight. They stayed waiting for me and let me into the room to get to sleep without full rigmarole at check-in. We can sort everything out in the morning was the very flexible attitude, for which I was most grateful.

The bed was awful. It was a thin (3 inch mattress) on the top of the box spring that kept sliding around. If you did not sit or lie on the mattress in just the right position, you were in danger of ending up on the floor.

Alles was goed verzorgt in het hotel, ontbijt was heerlijk, kamer was fijn. Helaas ging op de dag van aankomst een van de warmwaterketels kapot dus we hadden een frisse douche. We zagen dat er stilletjes maar wel aan gewerkt werd tijdens ons inchecken en dat ze er nog steeds mee bezig waren toen wij van ons dineetje met vrienden in de stad laat terug kwamen. Helaas heeft de harde inzet niet gebaat en was er de volgende ochtend nog steeds geen warm water. Wij weten zeker dat zo'n probleem bijna nooit voor komt dus wij raden dit hotel in het midden van het centrum ten zeerste aan.

De ligging van het hotel is perfect. Midden in het centrum. Personeel is vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Kamer was niet groot, maar wel heel luxe. Badkamer was ook top. Klein minpuntje vonden wij de prijs voor het ontbijt. Als je maar 2 broodjes eet, vind ik €22,50 pp per dag wel wat veel.
