"Well there are NOT 3 Hot tubs at this resort as advertised. There is ONE. It is small and attached to an indoor pool, full of children, and closes at 8pm. Also there is a 7$ per day fee to use it and this must be paid at the time of check-in. There isn't an option to pay for using the hot tub or amenities pass for just part of the stay. It's all or none. I ended up paying 70$ for 3 of us for 4 days and only used the hot tub for about 1 hr the day that we arrived. I inquired about a partial refund but was told by the resort to ask the place where you check in (which is about a 5-10 min drive away) and was told by the check in peope to ask the resort. #TheRunAround I just gave up. What a waste of money that was. 😑 Other thank that the room was pretty clean. The place is a bit dated. The TVs are old and only use local cable without Internet or sharing/casting capabilities. The nearest stores are a good 20 min drive. We did have a good time tho, overall. And the jacuzzi bathtub in the room kinda made up for the hot tub issue.... But I wish I would have known that there was only one hot tub on site and about the hours and fees before booking as that was my gf primary request. Idk that I'd stay at this place again, but if so, I would definitely plan my trip differently knowing what I know now. Hope this helps someone else.."

"We loved the spacious cabin! Our family and the family we were traveling with fit well for meals,sleeping and together time. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and game room. It was about a five minute drive to the lake access which we took advantage of at sunset. We liked how close it was to the restaurants, grocery and hikes. Thanks for a great stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay so much! We only stayed 2 nights, and were really sad to leave. I had never heard of Mill Spring before, but fell in love with the cabin when I saw the pictures on Vrbo. And believe me I wasn't disappointed. The cabin was beautifully decorated and so clean. It is so cozy and welcoming. The area is so nice, and close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. There is a cute little covered bridge & and creek close by for fishing. 100% recommend this place. You'll love it!"
