The hosts were amazing and really give you free rein to enjoy the beautiful grounds—the location is unbelievable, yet it’s only about a 15-minute walk into the center of Bayeux. "My husband and I came here in our honeymoon and LOVE LOVE this place. It is very beautiful property, all the staff is super nice and helpful. We also love the Nuxe products that they used in our bathroom:). We had dinner in the restaurant and everything is super fresh and delicious, highly recommended! Breakfast with fresh orange juice was top notch. You will love every moment in here. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer. Thanks to all the staff working there to make an incredible memory in our hearts."

"The breakfast was excellent! If you are parking on the premises I advise reserving a spot in advance. There were no spaces available our first night but they were able to accommodate us for the rest of the stay. The staff was nice, hotel is very well maintained. For summer travelers, be aware that the rooms are not air conditioned which necessitated keeping windows open at night to sleep, but then we had to endure the noise from the restaurant in the courtyard which ran as late as midnight on one night."

"We booked a privilege room. It had enough space and was very quiet - no external noise at all. Location is the best of any hotel in Bayeux. Right on the Main Street in the middle of all the restaurants, bars shops etc. all day tours depart from the street at the back of the hotel. It’s less than a 15 min walk to/from the train station. There are plenty of taxis. All staff were super friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. Room was spacious enough, clean and quiet. Aircon and wifi both were excellent. Breakfast was ok. The front desk team were the highlight. So friendly, so helpful. We stayed for a week and didn’t run out of things to do. There so much much more the Bayeux than D-Day beaches. We loved Churchill Hotel and would definitely return."

"Breakfast is included, so all good there. I was on the top floor when the outside temps were in the low 30s. The room was adequate for me but would have been much better with aircon. For the price I paid, I have no complaints at all. No fridge or aircon but did include towels and tea / coffee making facilities. Perfectly good."
