- Come for the lake, stay for the fire pit. Cedar & Sage is a renovated farmhouse minutes from Lake Cumberland with two private king bedrooms, a loft with two twin beds, and an arcade room for rainy days. Pet friendly. Bring the boat, the driveway fits a trailer.
Out back you get a patio with dining, a sitting area, and a fire pit under string lights. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, and 500+ Mbps internet. One bathroom, and we say so up front.
THE SPACE
The main floor has one king bedroom and the full bathroom. Upstairs, the stairs open into a loft with two twin beds, and the second king bedroom is reached by walking through the loft. The loft is open to the stairway, so it works best for kids or a group that doesn't mind sharing the upstairs.
GUEST ACCESS
The whole place is yours: the main floor, the upstairs loft and bedroom, the arcade room, the laundry room, the back patio, the fire pit and the driveway. We are not on site, so you will have the place to yourselves. We check in on your first morning, and we are always a message away if you need anything.
THE AREA
A quiet country spot minutes from Lake Cumberland, with a Dollar General right next door for quick runs. Safe Harbor Jamestown marina is just down the road, and State Dock, Wolf Creek Dam and the fish hatchery are about 15 minutes away. Lakewood Country Club, an 18-hole course that welcomes non-members, is about 2 minutes up the road. In town you will find Springs Diner for breakfast, Stropolis for homemade Italian, and Kroger and Price Less IGA for groceries. A car is the way to get around here. The driveway has plenty of room for cars plus a boat and trailer, and there is an EV charger on the side of the house.
GOOD TO KNOW
Every stay includes a short guest agreement covering house rules, occupancy and pets. You sign it online after booking, and your door code is sent once it's signed. We may also ask for a quick ID check before arrival. Exterior cameras cover the driveway, front entrance and back of the house. There are no cameras inside.
