Boo's Bungalow - Family and Dog Friendly Waterfront, NOT BEACHFRONT, Cottage


  • A spacious family home with enough space for your whole group! Fully equipped to handle large groups with a bunk room, family room, two master bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, play area, and great room with a dining room table to fit everyone.

    Enjoy the views that come with a waterfront property with water access. Just a short walk from the best bar on the island and a short golf cart ride away from a the public beach on Spanish Wells and more!

    Our home is kid friendly, adult friendly and dog friendly. There is a great room with a living room area, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen has been stocked with all the equipment and tools you will need to cook a gourmet dinner and mix cocktails of your choice. We also supply basic spices, coffee, tea bags, flour, sugar, rice, olive oil, vegetable oil and a Berkey water filter to make 2.5 gallons of healthy drinking water at a time. Please note there is NO DISHWASHER in this property as they tend to break down quickly due to the salt air and minerals in the water.

    All our bathrooms are stocked with towels, shower wash, shampoos, conditioner, hand soap, shaving cream, and emergency supplies of toothpaste and toothbrushes. We also have a baby bath, baby shampoo and bath wash, thermometer, first aid kits, after sun lotion, body lotion, and more. There is a bathroom next to the family bedroom with a tub, which is shared by all. The downstairs master bath has a huge two-person shower. Upstairs, the master and wardroom share a shower room, but each has its own sink/toilet room.

    Our outdoor space includes a nice big deck, lounge chairs, an outdoor dining table, grill, cooler and outdoor shower. Off the deck, you will find a laundry room for your use. We also have a sand terrace, beach chairs, snorkelling equipment, some basic water shoes in various sizes, floats and 4 Inflatable paddle boards and 2 Crystal Clear Kayaks for rent.

    ***A $285 cleaning fee will be collected in CASH upon arrival. You will not be allowed on the property until our property manager has received the fee.

    The easiest way to travel around the island is via golf cart. We can help you make reservations with a local vendor. When renting through us we make sure your cart is waiting and the dock ready for you when you arrive.

Another great stay at Boo’s Bungalow! The space was great, the house is well equipped and having the Sand Bar basically across the street is the icing on the cake! Tracy took care of setting up the cart rentals and airport transfers, great overall experience.

Such an enjoyable trip!

We absolutely loved our stay at booze bungalow! We traveled with five children all under the age of five and the home had everything we could need! Tracy was also very willing to work with us when we had concerns that our passports were not coming in in time. It is a truly lovely home and perfect spot for anyone traveling with littles and had everything we could have needed!

Great second stay!

We returned a second time to stay at this magical place!! Enough room for 10 guests to sleep. The house is very well stocked with anything you need. It is peaceful but well located to water view and a restaurant. We had tried to use stand up paddle boards and kayaks - but neither worked (likely need repairs), but otherwise, we were so grateful for towels, life jackets, water shoes, basic foods, extra sunscreens, and so much more. If you want a unique and GORGEOUS view (you may even spot a sea turtle while snorkeling in the ocean right off the property like we did), you will love it.

Great house for two families!

We had two families in this house with a total of 6 kids ranging in ages from 12- 6mo. It was in a great location with privacy but close to the sandbar restaurant and an easy golf cart ride to town. The house was so well stocked and made it easy to cook. I’d definitely recommend it!

We had a fabulous stay at Boo’s place. The home is lovely, even better than it appears online, and truly has everything you could need. Check in was seamless. Tracy and Holly (house manager) were very attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed the kayaks and SUPs and we felt that the best deep water swimming on the island is right off the backyard. We saw starfish, rays and turtles while kayaking meters from the property. Also highly recommend Aquabliss for a boat trip. Thanks Tracy and Holly for a great vacation!

Great first experience to Russell Island

The house was very well appointed and well thought out design on a beautiful oceanside with excellent snorkeling right out front. The check-in process could not have been better. We were met at the airport, brought to the ferry, picked up right away by the property manager with golf cart waiting and brought to the home with no delay. Checkout was just as smooth. The islands of Russell and Spanish wells were stunning and we cannot wait to come back!

Our stay at Boos-Bungalow was magnificent. This was the best stocked VRBO we’ve stayed in. From toiletries, to pantry staples, sunscreen, bug spray & laundry supplies-the Enders family has thought if everything. Incredible weather, wonderful snorkeling right in the back yard (the highlight was the sea turtle & barracuda) and super convenient to the Sandbar restaurant. Spanish Wells and Russel Island are a very laid back friendly places & it was such a relaxing week. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for everything

Heck yeah!

Although my family group changed from 8 adults and a child to three adults, everything else was perfect and quite frankly would have been for the larger group. In years of staying in VRBO, I have never been in a better equipped place. Everything needed was there both inside and outside. And yes there was room for three families. The setting was wonderful and the view spectacular. I spent many days reading in the shade on the deck looking out at the sea and cruise ships on the horizon. The Sandbar restaurant was across the street if you wanted to be served while eating or drinking on its beach. A short ride in a golf cart took you to other restaurants, shops and a well equipped, large grocery store. Couldn't get better!

Carribbean Paradise

This property is amazing! They thought of everything from beach shoes, towels,coolers, toiletries, in the house. The little beach area out back and the sea view is breathtaking my son git married there. Everything is a ahort ride on golf cart. Very Beautiful. Tracy the homeowner is 100% helpful and was very responsive to messages we even talked on the phone several times as she help make sure we had everything we needed for our son's wedding set up even got us a reservation at the beach restaurant near the house. The filtered water is good too. If you come to Russell Island Spanish Wells you want to stay here. Memories made and we had a wonderful experience.

Boo's is a gem!

Boo’s Bungalow is an excellent place to stay on Russell Island. The space is very well done and can accommodate large groups of people with lots of bathrooms and private space for everyone. Much larger than previous homes we have stayed at on the island. The property was clean and very well stocked with everything you might need. The host was extremely communicative and kind. The view was absolutely STUNNING! The listing is correct when it says it isn't on the beach but it is waterfront and gorgeous. We rented the boats but unfortunately the ocean was extremely choppy while we were there in February, and we were never able to go out in them. If the weather had been better, it would have been great to have access to the boats. Especially the crystal kayak! Looks like it would have been the perfect launch spot. We would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Cute, quiet and comfortable but disappointing

We felt safe and comfortable, enjoyed the night sky and peaceful, quietness as well as the close proximity to The Sandbar restaurant. On the downside, the map location on VRBO is totally off and shows this house much closer to the bridge over to the main area of Spanish Wells so it took longer to get anywhere (obviously not too much, but worth noting). On the inside, in the master bath the sink cold water didn't work at all and the water splashes everywhere when running at a low to moderate flow. Also in the master bath the toilet 'wobbled' and looks like it leaks at the bottom, GROSS. Also, the water completely stopped on us twice, once when only 1 was being used and then again when 2 were being used at the same time with no other water running. The refrigerator took over 12 hours to cool items placed in it after we arrived, however the freezer worked fine. Would suggest an upgrade. We didn't use the upstairs at all since there were only 3 of us, but I don't see how any adult over 5'3 could stay there. Small linens; kitchen and bathroom hand towels were limited and looked like they were used for cleaning vs. face, hand or dish drying. The outside needs work - A LOT. The grass was long, the two lounge cushions down by the water were torn, beat up and very dirty. No umbrellas could be found as shown in the pictures. There isn't any beach access, so not safe for young children. The shed and items in it were very dirty and rusty. BBQ grill was not level and dirty.

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Boo's bungalow! The host and property manager were very helpful and friendly and attended to us above and beyond. The house was super cute, clean and full of supplies inside and out. The view is fantastic, we enjoyed snorkeling and chilling in the water just steps away. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Boo's beautiful bungalow!

Our trip was great. There was 9 of us and we spent our evenings grilling, eating dinner at the house and finishing the night off with some serious games of Uno. There are snorkeling spots along the shore behind the house and a couple beaches you can paddle to that aren't too far. The island is great place full of great people! Tracey had all the snall travel details lined out and took all the stress out of getting to and from the airport. Amazing vacation!

Amazing!

The house is amazing! Fully stocked, everything taken care of. We didn't have to go to the grocery store till the next day which was a blessing after traveling all day. If the tide is high one can snorkel right off the steps leading into the ocean. Location is great, only two minute walk from the Sandbar Restaurant and Bar. The house is beautifully decorated and maintained! Highly recommend!??!
