We were 5 couples in town for a wedding. House was a great fit, well stocked, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out or be together. The beautiful grounds were an added bonus as we enjoyed some botchy ball, and walks around the property.
Would definitely recommend this house and would stay again! Hosts were great with terrific communications!
We decided to use this location for our wedding of about 70 people. This was an AMAZING experience! Not only do the pictures not do this location justice, the first interactions with the owners (Julie and Mark) does not to them any justice. Not only was the location immaculate, but Julie and Mark make the experience. This was their first wedding on this location and they were accommodating, helpful, responsive, friendly, timely, thorough, non-intrusive, great hosts, and even greater people! If you are even slightly considering this location, do yourself the favor and book it! We will be again soon as well!
This delightful house and property provided an ideal place for a gathering of 10 friends (5 couples). It would also be perfect for families with kids of any age! The manicured outdoor spaces are beautiful and fun to explore, and have great areas to play games or to curl up around the fire. The house is very spacious and comfortable with a lovely decor and ambiance throughout, and with more than enough room and activities for everyone. The kitchen has everything we needed, and more. We used the location of the house to explore nearby towns and activities, but could have easily stayed in the entire time and had just as much fun playing pool, Pickelball, or volleyball, or exploring the grounds, playing cards, and visiting with each other. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive - they truly have thought of everything their guests may need or want!
Beautiful house & Property - Management / Neighbors "iffy"
The house is gorgeous, the land is breathtaking, and the cleanliness was wonderful. However, I booked the stay under my name and paid with my husbands card and because I am not a large group, I almost missed out on my vacation as the owners/ management felt "questionable" about my husband and I staying. I had to call after booking (if I wasnt paying attention to my phone they would have cancelled my stay I already paid for), to explain to them why I was staying (I already stated why when I was booking that I was staying to celebrate my anniversary) and to be made sure I was of "sound mind" when booking. On top of this, there are cameras on the premises with live recording which are not mentioned in the description (near the hottub) and I had to deal with a DRONE flying over my husband and I at night while we were in the tub, which stayed for a good couple minutes until I yelled at it that I could SEE the drone, and it flew away. (Drones usually dont have long range, so it was someone nearby- something to keep in mind). Everything said, the house IS beautiful, just maybe not worth the price to be questioned, spied on, and then watched by the owners during the stay if you plan to be outside.
Perfect place for a long weekend with friends and family
We stayed here over the weekend of the Musselman 70.3 Half Ironman. We had several people competing in the race and several just coming to support. This house provided the perfect refuge for all parties. Between cooking for a large hungry group to entertaining those that were not racing to keeping those that were racing comfortable, this house had everything.
The owners were incredible about making sure we had everything we needed. They dropped off extra gas tanks so that we could continue using the grills even when the propane ran out.
This place was beautiful and perfectly accommodated all the various needs we had throughout the weekend.
The property was absolutely beautiful and pics don’t do it justice. The house was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were phenomenal and super attentive! 10/10 will also be checking out other properties they own for other trips!
The property was absolutely perfect for our family Christmas celebration. Clean, well appointed and everything was as listed. Even better. Will absolutely recommend this house to anyone in need of a beautiful place to stay.
The home and property are outstandingly beautiful and well appointed. The owners take great care of every detail and have every item you could want, from games to kitchen supplies, to the fairy path and pond with frogs. We had a perfect stay there with our adult children and grand children. Hikes, kayaking and the town were all perfectly close to make for an ideal holiday together.
This house far exceeded our expectation, it’s perfect for families. There is so much space inside to gather in groups. It was so clean and ready for our arrival. The kitchen is great for cooking and offers every appliance and tool you might need. The beautifully landscaped outdoor space offers open spaces for games, a fire pit and nature trails to wander and explore. Mark & Julie were so easy to work with and accommodating. We so enjoyed our visit and plan to return again.
Exceeded all expectations. The house and extensive grounds are amazing. The indoor sports court was heavily used to play racketball, pickle ball and volleyball. It is centrally located with easy access to Canandaigua Lake, the town of Canandaigua a wide variety of hiking trails and other lakes in the region including Seneca. The expansive grounds provided a very private setting and the views from the house are beautiful. The owners were great to work with and ensured we had a fantastic stay. Looking forward to our next booking! Highly recommend for a family get together.
This property exceeded our expectations. We were there for a family anniversary and Thanksgiving. The house is large enough to fit the entire family comfortably with all the luxuries needed. The house is very well equipped with games cooking equipment and anything you could possibly need for your stay. The view is very nice and the location is excellent. Right from the start our host Julie was amazing. The contact back-and-forth was great and check out and check in couldn’t have been any easier. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful house with a great atmosphere, this property will not let you down. Couldn’t have had a better time.

Dream Family Celebration & Holiday
This was our once in a life time family holiday, but should have been our annual family event at this magnificent home in Canandaigua. Our 3 adult children and 2 grandkids were greeted in the foyer with crafty gifts for the grandkids, and of course a s'mores kit for all of us! This set the perfect tone for the adventure that awaited in the huge house with two kitchens, volley ball court, fairy trail, pond with elusive frogs, games for everyone, and easy access to lakes, water falls, fun dining spots and complete and utter relaxation. For us, having a place where everyone could be together, relax and bond was magical. The house is beautifully appointed with everything you could need for the perfect holiday adventure.
Our host, Julie, was very accommodating going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and all that we needed.
We could not have asked for a better place.
Our family traveled from four states to come together for five nights. This location was perfect. We played dozens of volleyball games, pool games and board games. There is plenty of room to spread out and gather together. The fairy walk was special for our 3-year old granddaughter. The hosts do not miss a thing with this property. They even have all terrain strollers to comfortably walk on the property. The property is so peaceful and yet less than 20 minutes from the shops and restaurants in Canandaigua. The lake is beautiful and the sunsets over the property are stunning. Can’t say enough about this property. We will definitely return.
This property was everything we had read about and more! Great inside and out all ages!!
Gorgeous property with plenty of options for indoor and outdoor games. Spacious rooms and all the amenities you could want. We hope to be back in the future!

Nice property. Beautiful views. Property manager prone to over communication. Multiple discussions before stay. Multiple texts during stay. This is overbearing and not consistent with rental property norms. (I’ve stayed at over 4 dozen luxury properties throughout the Cape, Vineyard and the Caribbean). Suggestion: include all details in property description (including rules) and make yourself available only when renters require. A mostly invisible property manager is customer centric and provides the greatest value.
Julie is the most accommodating host. This home was perfect for our Friendsgiving! It had absolutely everything we wanted and needed. It’s just as beautiful as the pictures show inside and out! We’d love to make this an annual stay!
We had a fantastic time together at the place! We had options to leave the property and do things in town and no one wanted to. We loved just spending time together at this place. The hosts were very communicative on all necessary details. It made staying there so easy. The place is spacious and perfect for lots of families to have rooms to stay in as well as great areas to hang out in big groups and spend quality time together. We hung out in the game room/bar, the downstairs living room, the upstairs living room, the giant table in the kitchen and around the entryway firepit! The gym is huge and was perfect for all the kids to run around and expend a bunch of energy. The kids also loved the fairly trail on the property. The house also had all wonderful amenities! It is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook and serve big meals. We would love to come back and stay here again.
We recently stayed at this property for a friends/family get together in the Finger Lakes. The host Julie was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We corresponded before our trip so I knew exactly what to expect. Our day of check in she went to the property to make sure the lights were on and everything was set up because we had a late arrival. The property came equipped with everything you could could think of in terms of games/activities, kitchen gadgets, and necessities. Our favorite part was the property itself. The kids in our group spent lots of time running around the property, exploring the fairly garden trail, and best of all making smores around the firepit.
It was truly an incredible experience!
This property is spectacular: sprawling forested land, huge home, home gym, game room, two kitchens. One weakness--running out of water several times during the week. (we hear this has been fixed.)
We had an very nice time at this home. What a facility! The home was large and the activity areas (especially indoor gym, basketball, pool table, darts, and outdoor fire pits) were great for a large family reunion.
The home was stocked with everything we needed and the hosts were both welcoming and responsive - communication was great!. We look forward to our next stay!.
Amazing property in great location & fabulous amenities
Impressed with the property owners and their overall customer service. 16 of us stayed in the property for 3 nights. Most of us wanted to spend entire time in the property.
