"The room was clean, staff were very professional and helpful and the air conditioning worked great! The shower curtain needed to be longer so water doesn’t spill on to the bathroom floor. Outlets need replaced due to my charger wouldn’t stay plugged in. We stayed on second floor and stairwell and staircase needs improved. Great price! Overall stay was pretty good and we would definitely stay again!"

"Every detail from this stay was perfect. The property is beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. The check in was smooth, with the host being so helpful! Our room was lovely and so comfortable. We enjoyed dinner in town, and cocktails back at the inn- the drinks were made to perfection. So creative. We were just passing through Lewisburg, but my husband wanted to stay longer…it was that wonderful! I would recommend a stay at this inn without hesitation."

"Trains, River, and Mountain view with enough room for a five-person family, and updated cold air conditioning and kitchen. The location is nice for deploying by car across the New River Gorge region. In West Virginia fashion, expect 3-7 coal trains a night at the nearby double crossing. Their horns can be startling if you’re a light sleeper. Our kids didn’t mind at all and loved the trains. Even the Amtrak Cardinal line runs through 3x a week at 10:30 am. The owner instantly approved our request and provided good instructions for the stay. We loved the misty mountain view in the mornings from the front porch. It’s about a 100 yard walk to the New River, with boat access. Most of the time the area is very quiet and serene. This was our first trip to the New River Gorge, and I definitely think we’ll be back."
