Good amenities

Spacious bedroom set far enough away from the living room. Little kitchenette was very nice. Our bedroom had a separate bedroom vanity for me to put my make-up on so others could occupy the bathroom.

The apartment is in dire need of updating. We had to knock the ice off the ice maker to get the fridge to work. The couch was very broke down. Most of the furniture/ decor/carpet is from the 1990's and appliances even older. I would not have wanted to stay there alone at night. It was clean though.

Nostalgic for the '70s

The bed was strange. The bathtub was pretty gross. The overall condition was so-so. It was a definite throwback to the '70s. Note the photo of the room key.

When looking for a place, i read some bad reviews on this place and some good ones. Took my chances and booked a riom for the weekend. Best chance i took. The room was amazing, had everything we needed in it and extras. The lady at check in was very polite and helpful in letting us know what to do while on our stay. I would definitely book again.

Great price!

Great stay, amazing area. I would have liked a little more cleanliness in the room itself. When we pulled a nightstand over to look for an outlet, it was very apparent time was not taken to move furniture when vacuuming after stays. Afterward it was hard to trust the cleanliness of other things in the room. But we overall enjoyed the stay, staff and area were all amazing!

My family really enjoyed our stay here. Only thing is pullout couch had not been cleaned. There was a beer cap and some other trash on the pullout couch. I also wish there was a dead bolt or double locks on the door instead of just the doorknob. Thankfully my husband piled the stools and recliner against the door to give me peace of mind. Other than that it was nice, quiet and nobody bothered us. Oh and you also have to wash your own dishes in the kitchen or they charge a fee. We already clean up after ourselves but didn’t expect that rule.

The front office was very friendly upon check in. We reserved the room with fireplace but there was no firewood. The place was okay clean. The pillows and mattress were plastic and, therfore terribly uncomfortable. I will not stay again.

The staff were helpful and friendly. I rented the 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious. There was 2 queen beds in one room and a king bed in the master bedroom. There was a pull out couch and an extra twin bed that was stored in the closet if needed. The kitchen was large and fully loaded with pots and pans. The apartment was a little outdated but very cozy. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again.

The front desk staff was super nice. They did not have a King room ready at check-in due to their housekeeping being stretched, but she put me in a double that was ready. Unfortunately the condo was not what I expected. This place is charming but needs some serious love and remodeling. There are mini splits, but you can't lower the thermostat in the room (you have to go to the office when they are open, which is limited), and the room stayed stuffy. The carpet is old and did not feel clean, and several pieces of furniture had stains on the cushions. The beds were clean but the mattress sunk, and there were plastic covered pillows in the pillowcases. The amenities were limited to shampoo and soap, and some coffee. For a quick business trip, this did the trick, but I would not pay this much again to stay here. I hope it gets some TLC, it would be a great place to stay during ski season.

We had a blast! After reading comments I was expecting something very outdated but it was nothing like that. They provide pots and pans and dishes for you to cook, 2 heaters and a pull out couch as well. It was very nice and cozy. We were all comfortable and not one bad thing to say. The girls in the front were also very nice. On our next trip to Ruidoso we plan to stay there again . Only suggestion for the Summer would be to please fix the ice machine outside .

Not as good as it once was….. 2 out of 10

The lodge had nice desk workers but was extremely run down. Piecemealed together. Dirty rooms and not very well stocked as far as amenities in kitchen or bathrooms. Relatives had ants in their rooms. We made the most of our stay though and enjoyed being with family. Will choose a different location for lodging in the future!
