"Honestly, I felt okay about the stay, despite the following issues, until I discovered the hidden cubby, behind the wall art in the living room, that housed a monitor, some cables and whole lot of mouse droppings. So... thoroughly... unsettling. On top of that, the upstairs bedroom boils in warm weather, even if you close the blinds all day and open the tiny little window at night. Half of the window screens have holes/gaps so you can't open them without letting in mosquitos. The AC was useless, though the heat was very effective. The firepit out back is overgrown. The noise from I-90 completely drowns out the river. Also, the internet was very unreliable. The ISP said it wasn't on their end, so it's likely something with the equipment. This was a work stay for me so that was extremely problematic. On a positive note, it was clean (except the aforementioned horror-movie hidey hole), the kitchen had everything I needed, good water pressure and heat, decent appliances. Lots of seating. Also, nifty hammock hooks on the back porch were a nice perk. That being said, never ever returning."

"Would highly recommend this home! We had four adults and four very young kids on this trip and this house was perfect for a short getaway and very kid friendly (baby gate, pack and play and highchair). The home is beautiful and everything in it is quality. The house is tucked away in the gated neighborhood and is so quiet. We were able to sit out on the deck and drink our coffee with the beautiful view and see the deer and rabbit roaming around. The only thing we were bummed about was the pool was closed for the entire summer for maintenance so we couldn’t utilize that, but if it were open it would have been perfect and just a couple minute walk. I could see us coming back again and bringing another family since it has so much room."
