"Lovely home in a little village but close to things we wanted to see. Very clean and pleasant. Our kids loved playing in the garden and searching for cows indoors!"

"Lovely little apartment type accommodation. Had everything we needed. Lovely surroundings and nice short walk to center of city. "

"It wasthe second time that we spent our summer holiday in this house. We enjoyed the silence, the space of the beautiful house, the kitchen and the large table which gave in the evening a nostalgic realm."

"We had a wonderfull time. We were with 11 persons and I think that 12 is the maximum capacity. The house is ok , it's a pity the pool can't be warmed up. Very friendly and helpful landlady."

"This nice little apartment in Courseulles-sur-Mer was just right for a short stay. We had everything we needed.The view of the marina with the sea behind was lovely, with the loggia providing shelter in case of bad weather. It is a convenient base for visiting the D Day landing sites and easy to get to the ferry ports. However the car park is not directly beside the apartment, which made it more complicated to load and unload the luggage."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Le Lion d'Or. The location couldn't be better—an easy walk to shops, restaurants, bars, historical sites, and even a grocery store. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and very comfortable, with a warm atmosphere clearly geared toward an American clientele. The on-site restaurant was a highlight: elegant setting and truly excellent food. Although there’s no elevator, the staff kindly helped us get our luggage upstairs, which we appreciated. It’s something to keep in mind for those with mobility issues, but it didn’t detract from our experience. Our only regret? That we didn’t stay longer. Highly recommend this lovely hotel in the heart of Bayeux."

"This was our base during our visit to Normandy. Located in a central location to restaurants and shopping, it was a lovely historic hotel. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan - which was great. Staff was courteous and helped with all our questions. Taxis are readily available to get to the train station. Will stay there again should we ever find ourselves in Bayeux. Exactly as described. "
