"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"It was a very pleasant place to stay in the Northern Rhone near vineyards in Crozes Hermitage and also very convenient for visiting Tain which is only ten minutes away. "

"Overnight stay enroute back to the uk, a little tricky to find, due to reliance on vehicle gps. Slight issues with checking in, due to some problems with Expedia system but no real problem. Bedroom amazing, so elegant. Host recommended a local restaurant for evening meal which didn’t disappoint. Great breakfast with Home made jams and cake. Enjoyed our stay."
