"I want to stress how accommodating and attentive the staff was. Reception truly was very welcoming and I do not want my review to reflect on them at all. Could not have been happier with them. That being said the property condition was just not it. There was mud EVERYWHERE; black snow, bit construction signs and and large construction trucks - it just totally totally ruined the feel of the place. The cabin itself was pretty low end in my opinion. Coming from The Northern Lights Village - this was definitely a downgrade and did not feel luxurious or relaxing at all :/ the hottub was nice but the view was black snow, mud and an ugly wooden panel; again just ruining the entire moment. The cabins also had these drapes that were very annoying to deal with and quite literally block the Aurora. I had to wait several pictures to remove the drapes. Disappointed by the location but very happy with the Aurora Borealis. I hate to leave such a critical review but I think it’s important for consumers to know what they are getting for $600/night. Value is just not there. "

"The property and the location is good. But what they don't mention is that some of the chalets are very far from the reception and you have to cross a main street, and if you don't have the car there is no help or trolley to drag the suitcases across. The receptionists are very unhelpful and apathetic. They blocked the room access card even before our check out time and and again to reactivate, though it is their fault, you need to walk all the way to the reception to reactivate it! "

"Reception desk on arrival not very welcoming or friendly, just did the necessary. Bathroom floor space like a postage stamp, literally width of toilet. Never seen such a tiny bathroom. Breakfast was just ok but could have more on offer, quite limited. Location amazing, very clean, comfy beds. "

"Santa Claus Village was the perfect mix between nostalgic yet not overwhelming Christmas spirit. . Everything from the accommodations to the food was top notch. Everything was in walking distance and Uber/cabs were easily accessible. Friendly staff, clean facilities, overall great experience! "

"Clean room and sauna was a lovely touch with nice views outside however address wasn’t accurate every time we ordered a delivery they would get lost. Also booked this for the late check out of 12pm however when we got there we were told check out is 11am which I was so disappointed about. Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable I had maybe a few hours sleep each night only"

"We loved this apartment! "Check in" was super easy. My husband got an email saying the apartment was ready and that the key would be in the door. The apartment was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. We loved having our very own sauna in the unit!!! What a treat!! "
