"We had a fantastic stay at Harwelden in the Sycamore Suite. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable, even leaving a special gift for our daughter in the room. The grounds are beautiful and the house is immaculately restored. There are many common areas of the house open to all guests, from a cozy listening room downstairs to a game room on the third floor perfect for kids. I also sincerely appreciate that the hotel does not charge for every little thing, which is far too often what higher-end hotels do. Instead, everything is included, from parking to breakfast to anything stocked in the mini fridge in the room or even the wet bar on the second floor. Overall, it is a wonderful property, perfect for a special occasion."
