Whether one is a loving resident, a loyal holidaymaker or a visitor who has fallen under the charm, the landscapes of Rougon do not leave indifferent. That’s why, I invite you to enjoy these extraordinary landscapes that you can admire from the terrace of my house overlooking the entrance of the Grand Canyon du Verdon, Rougon is the ideal starting point to discover this exceptional site, climbing, rafting and practicing outdoor activities such as hiking, vulture watching and starry evenings. Located 300 m from the village and its amenities (bread, food, post office, creperie, snack bar - refreshment bar and restaurant, and 16 km from Castellane and 34 km from Moustiers-St Marie), this building has retained its original charm while having been redesigned in a rather modern style combining comfort and elegance. American-style equipped kitchen, decorated with a living-dining room, friendly part with sofa bed, gives access to an outdoor terrace in a dominant position overlooking the entrance of the grand canyon. Table and chairs will allow you to eat in the shade of the lime tree or under the parasol provided. Moreover, you will have a bright and spacious room whose configuration allows you to admire the sky through its roof window, conducive to wonder during starry nights. This one includes a boxbed for two people in 140 as well as a storage cupboard. Possibility to put a cot. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a towel dryer and a sink with drawers and storage column. The toilets are independent. No air conditioning in the property due to the fact that it is an old construction and located at 930 m altitude. Possibility to park on the property and possibility to access it on one level.
