"Overall we had a very nice stay. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The sharpest knives we've ever had in a vrbo! The view is incredible and it's very peaceful. FYI-especially if you have young kids who go to bed before the sun goes down: the cabin is essentially one big open room. The window on the west side of the cabin doesn't have blinds that go all the way down so definitely bring a travel blackout shade. The master is also open to the living room and upstairs. The lighting upstairs is bright overhead lights. The mattresses are very very soft with little support. Our son rolled out of bed several times. The mattresses are soft and the pillows are hard (somehow?). We had the most difficulty sleeping-but otherwise, the cabin was fantastic. "

"Nice house on a quiet piece of land, but the host forgot to mention that there is no river in March. I knew the Army Corps drains some lakes and rivers in Kentucky, so I specifically asked the host about the river level since my 13-year-old son loves to fish. Unfortunately, she didn’t tell me the truth.When we arrived, we found only a dried-up creek, which was a big disappointment for my son and for us. We could have rented a house for a better price and much closer to the national park, but we feel we were misled by the host.We won’t be coming back, even though the property itself is nice."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Kentucky home! It was the perfect setup for our group of two families with five kids—plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together without ever feeling crowded.The property itself is beautiful—peaceful, well-maintained, and the kind of place where you instantly feel like you’re on vacation. The outdoor deck spaces were especially great for the kids to play, while the adults could unwind and take in the scenery.The amenities truly made the stay exceptional. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided, and then some. From the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable living spaces and thoughtful extras throughout the home, it was clear the hosts put a lot of care into creating a welcoming and convenient experience.Speaking of the hosts—they were incredible. So thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was perfect. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality, and it really made a difference.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families or groups looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!"

"Great experience overall! Very cozy place to stay while exploring the area (Mammoth cave, Bowling Green, etc). Plenty of room for our family of 4 including our dog. It was also nice having a garage to park our car. Would Definitely stay again if we are in the area!"
