Set across approximately 14,000 square metres (1.4 hectares) of expansive lawns and gardens, our hideaway is home to friendly alpacas that guests are welcome to meet and feed. One complimentary bag of alpaca treats is provided with your apartment, creating a memorable experience for children and adults alike.

Our newly built Deluxe Family Plus Apartment is a spacious, fully self-contained stay for up to five guests, with two separate sleeping areas offering families greater space and privacy.

The main sleeping area has one king bed and is semi-separated from the living space by a modern TV wall and timber slat feature. With advance notice, the king bed can be split into two single beds. A separate bedroom contains two single beds plus one pull-out single bed, which can be neatly stored away when not in use.

Step outside and enjoy the real Hideaway experience. Relax on your private patio, wander across the expansive lawns, let the children enjoy the playground, or spend time meeting and feeding our alpacas. The apartment and patio are exclusively yours, while the lawns, gardens, playground and alpaca area are shared with other Hideaway guests.

A shared guest laundry room with washing machines, dryers, an iron and ironing board is available on site for a small charge. These facilities are located in a separate laundry room and are not inside the apartment. Our reception is also located on site, so assistance is nearby whenever you need it.

Hideaway of Rotorua feels peaceful and tucked away, while Skyline Rotorua, Agrodome, ZORB, Mitai Māori Village and central Rotorua are all within easy driving distance. It is a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Rotorua, with much more space and character than a typical room-only stay.
