Lastly, there is both a drip coffee maker and a Kurieg with a medium roast coffee option available.
Please note: 1. The main home on the property is also an Airbnb. You will have your own private entrance with a door code and other guests staying in the main home will not be have access to the barn. 2. There is an “employees only” door located beneath the barn apartment we use for property supplies - you may see cleaners or members of our team discreetly coming in & out during your stay! 3. There is a fire pit below the deck. You will need to bring your own camping chairs and wood for the fire pit. 4. The steep driveway leading up to the property is fully paved! It is shared with the main house and there are two areas on the driveway that allow you to pull off if needed. 5. If you would like to use the hot tub you will need to bring your own hot tub towels!
HOT TUBS: Please advise!! Hot tub maintenance is very important and it's some thing that we take very seriously in between guest reservations. If the hot tub has to be dumped for sanitary and health safety reasons on a turnover day when the property is booked back to back, it may take 8-12 hours for it to reach high temps. We do the best we can to be proactive with this but ultimately it is out of our control to make the hot tub heat up faster. Health and safety for our guests is very important to us. We ask all of our guests that book to bring their own hot tub towels.

We loved that the house felt like it was away from the city yet close enough to Chattanooga to enjoy the downtown area and some great restaurants. Added bonus that we could bring our dog. We would definitely visit again.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Barn on Hemlock Hill. It was comfortable and peaceful and had everything we needed for our Labor Day weekend stay.
We loved how close this vrbo was to the city while being out in peaceful nature at the same time. It was exactly what we needed for a restful but also fun stay. We did activities like Ruby Falls, went for hikes, swims, and spent some time downtown while barely ever driving over 20 minutes from the vrbo. We also loved the hot tub and how clean the vrbo was. Overall a wonderful stay!!
I want to start by saying I had excellent communication with the host. She even answered my questions after business hours before my stay even started. The place was beautiful & clean. The location was perfect as we split our time between downtown Chattanooga and Lookout mountain. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10 stay!!
We absolutely loved our stay here. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our 2 golden retrievers. We loved how secluded it felt, but then how close it was to get downtown. We would absolutely stay here again.
We were pleased with our stay. It was a very good place to stay for our weekend away. It was very quiet, and a good place to come back to after we were out most of the day explore the Chattanooga area. As a history buff, I enjoyed the area. The property was very good for a couple.
We loved our stay in the barn. The house is well off the main road, so it's very quiet and peaceful, but only a 15 minute drive to downtown Chattanooga, so there are plenty of options for food and fun.
Great value and a great stay. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed the beautiful area and home while in town for graduations and moving out our son from his first year of college.
The space was clean, comfortable and a quiet place to relax after all the celebrations.
We stayed here for a long weekend and really only spent the mornings and nights at the property. It was perfect for what we needed! Clean, homey, and a great view!
This renovated Barndo was absolutely the cutest place I’ve ever stayed!!! All weekend it was all I talked about. Super close to town and restaurants and not far from ruby falls either. We will most definitely stay here again! ❤️
The kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay. The view was lovely. The Bardominium was very spacious. The rental company was extremely helpful, when we got lost. The location was great for touring Ruby Falls and Chattanooga attractions. The driveway was quite steep and narrow. That was the only negative.
The barn had everythng we needed and was perfect for our 2 pets. It was near bigger attractions while still being a cozy and isolated stay. We found eveything clean, with minor inconveniences such as few towels, bed a bit uncomfortable, and a steep hill that can be slick when wet driving up and down. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend others to stay and visit the surrounding areas!
So cute, quiet spot with easy access to St Elmo/Chatanooga!
We really enjoyed this property! It was a nice, quiet get away spot after a few days of busy, crowded atmosphere in pigeon forge. We LOVED St. Elmo! Its an easy drive from the house with great food and an awesome, small town atmosphere. Chatanooga was an easy drive as well and another great experience. I only took off a star on cleanliness because there were a decent amount of bugs in the house, but you are kinda in the woods/mountain so nothing I wouldnt expect. We would definitely come.back and recommend to others! Plus it was puppy friendly which was a big plus for us!
I stayed here with my husband and daughter. The GPS took us past the driveway the first time, but we figured it out. The house was clean and it was the perfect size for us. We have had more people with us because we didn't even use the downstairs bedroom. To me, it was nicer in person than in the pictures. Every morning we got to wake up to a beautiful view. We were short distances away from everything we wanted to do.
The barn was cute. It was clean except for a few cobwebs on ceiling fan, under tv stand and between the fridge and wall. No big deal we just removed them. You can’t really see the houses around close but you can hear the cars coming and going and hear the kids and dogs. It didn’t bother us but it might some people. Our visit was very pleasant and I would stay there again. Thank you for having us 😊
Of course there is cons with any rental property but with this I have to search for negatives. The bed was really firm, the leg room in front of the toliet is small, the drywaller must have been drunk when they did the finishing (you can literally see the tape). Regardless, it was exactly what you want. The place was VERY clean, very put together, extremely easy to check in and out of… all of the big stuff was done very well! Also, it wasn’t unnoticed the extra towels, trash bag and cleaning supplies. The host seems to actually care about the details of a house and that’s why it felt so great to stay there.
We really loved our stay at this property. The building was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The only thing we werent thrilled about was the cleanliness. The important things (bedding, bathroom, fridge) were absolutley fine, it just really needed a good deep cleaning. Lots of cobwebs and dirt dust ect. under the furniture. Also the outdoor areas were wonderful but the furniture was not clean and not inviting. Overall we are still very happy with your stay just wanted to mention the things that are an easy fix to make this VRBO perfect.
The property looks just like the pictures. I loved how it was decorated. It had 2 outdoor areas. We enjoyed a fire in the small fire pit that we moved out to the driveway one night. I only gave 4 stars for 2 reasons, the unit used for heating and cooling in the downstairs bedroom is very loud it cycles on and off. It kept waking me up. The second reason is the kitchen. There was a big beautiful gas stove but the pans to cook we less then great. I was traveling with my son and we stay at VRBOs to save money and not eat out all the time when we travel. I would bring my own pans had I known. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, Big Bad Breakfast North shore Chattanooga was amazing. We did all the tourist things, Ruby Falls, Rock City, Walnut St Bridge, and the Aquarium. We spent a day at High Pount climbing.
