"Everything about our stay was very pleasant. Our room was great. Comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom with a great shower. Only drawback was the A/C unit wasn’t working well. We didn’t call management because we thought it would eventually cool down. It didn’t. Reported it at checkout. "

"Hummingbird Holler is a great place! I can't say enough about how much we liked the property, but here's my attempt. The property is secluded and the hummingbirds are amazing. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the creek. The pink deer are a perfect landmark! The house is had everything to make our stay complete. The rooms are spacious. The living room furniture is very comfortable and the beds were great, The owner was very quick to respond to messages, much faster than I was to see them and respond to him! (Sorry about that Kevin!)There were bad thunderstorms before we arrived which caused flooding and washouts along our route to the house. But Hummingbird Holler is well-constructed and all measures have been taken to ensure that water drains from the property effectively."

"The property was very peaceful. There was plenty of room for our group (5 adults and 2 kids). Two refrigerators and two stoves -- you could have fed a lot more people! The pool and hottub were great. One thing to consider is that there are steps up to the hot tub and then up to the pool. This wasn't much of an issue but for those with mobility issues, it is something to consider. The fishing in the pond was very fun - lots of bluegills and even a few bass!"

"Starting with the communication, to the check out- this property is exceptional in every way! The home is secluded on a gorgeous property, surrounded by nature woods. If you love a relaxing bonfire or a quiet private hot tub or a barbecue with friends on a covered private deck, this place is a must. Every inch of the cabin was clean, well equipped, and all ours. Regardless if youre a young couple or grandparents with grandkids, this is the place. 20 minutes to a grocery store, 20 minutes to the most popular State Park in Ohio, your have it all. Thank you Red Oak Retreats for the memories our family will always cherish!"

"Clean well decorated thoughtful. The path down to the creek is so steep you cannot walk down it little bit misleading bought a tourist fishing license and couldn't use it because it was too dangerous to go down the path to the creek"
