Cozy Stay Near Brevard: Hot Tub & Creek Views

Enjoy the magic of this cottage nestled at the base of a hillside along a gorgeous creek. Feel the history that comes with this cottage and helps everyone feel at home. It was built and settled 80 years ago by a family who used its spring to supply water for the surrounding neighbors. It has a old home feel, smell and atmosphere

Wade in the bold creek that winds through our five-and-one-half acre property; play a game of tetherball or badminton in the large open field, or just relax inside by the fireplace. Enjoy sitting in the hot tub. Invite family and pack tents for the large grassy yard in the front.

You can take a five minute drive to view a beautiful waterfall, or swing by the creek and listen to it running swiftly by. The cottage is an easy 15-30 minute drive to many local attractions, including waterfalls, lakes, golf courses and gorgeous blue ridge mountain drives. Namely DuPont, Pisagah National Forest, Sassafras Observatory, and Gorges State Park. Enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with this hidden jewel. It’s historic feel will make you want to stay.

The privacy this place offers is something that makes it very unique. Five acres to spread out and explore is a large area for a family. Wadding in the creek to cool off in the warm months is something that you do not get just anywhere.

Overall our stay, although short was amazing the property was great loved the creek and waterfall along the property very convenient and close to shops, and other cities to visit would definitely visit again

Amazing cabin. Ended up not fishing but enjoyed all other offered amenities. The falls are amazing in the area. Loved the sound of the rushing creek.

Amazing!

My family and I loved staying here! The acreage to run around on was great for my boys and when they were ready to calm down, the trout fishing was so fun. Very close to hiking. This is the perfect family getaway spot . The owners are great and very quick to respond 🙂 We will be back!

Visiting family

We chose this place to visit with grangchildren. There was alot for them to do and its great for just 2 adults also, very private and well kept and a well stocked kichen with every utensil supplied. Great communication when you have questions.

House on the hill

We enjoyed our stay very much. The peace and quite was fantastic and the running stream was peaceful. We enjoyed the large front yard and playing frisbee. Communication was great and everything went smooth.

Lovely creekside

This cottage was really clean and enjoyed listening to the creek, watching the fish and it was easy to get in and out of. Everything you can think of is provided, we had a wonderful time, just too short.

Peaceful Property

We enjoyed the peacefulness of your beautiful home and property! The hummingbirds were a joy to watch. It was nice relaxing while listening to the creek. We visited all the nearby waterfalls--the house is in such a great location! Everything about our stay was perfect and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful!

Wonderful rental property, the boys loved being able to fish right outside! The road leading in is a true mountain road- lots of twists and turns! Small store just a few miles away. Beautiful and quiet! We loved it.

Perfect Getaway!

Our family of four visited from out of state. It was perfect. Everything we needed was provided. The property manager shared great places to visit in the area - all were spectacular!! We also enjoyed our time on the property - fishing, playing in the field, and relaxing in the house. We would definitely visit again!

Charming, cozy and beautiful!

We can’t wait to return! The house is so cozy and charming with plenty of room for our family. Our kids loved fishing in the trout pond, while our dogs loved running on the huge property. There were so many areas to explore. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. This place is a perfect location for a mountain getaway, and we can’t wait to book our next trip here.

Perfect family getaway

If your looking for some quality family time and unplug this is the cabin for you. Watching the kids play in the creek, run around the field and coming in to play the board games provided was just what we needed. It was peaceful, quiet and a perfect place to make memories with your kids. The host was very responses to all our needs and questions. This little cabin is a hidden gem.

Peaceful and beautiful!!!

My family and I stayed at this home for the weekend and it was lovely!!! A really peaceful location and a beautiful home!! We really enjoyed the trout pond, my 3 year old caught her first fish there and my little boy had a blast. It was really awesome to see all those fish in there stir up the water as we fed them! So much to do in so little time, really hope to be back real SOON!!!!

Cozy, relaxing family weekend

This cottage is just what our family needed for a cozy, relaxing post-Thanksgiving getaway. We chilled in the hot tub, cooked out on the firepit, play board games on the day bed, explored the small creek, and curled up and watched movies. The kitchen had everything we needed for a few days of cooking. And the smores ingredients the host leaves out was a special touch. Will definitely be back.

Perfect privacy

Large stream runs around two sides of open grass area in front of cottage. Very comfortable furniture and excellent tv channel selection including netflex. The house has all needed amenities and all appliances work. Our only complaint was the old, outdated grill which the owner immediately replaced with a new one! Feeding the trout in the pond each day was fun while walking the grounds. Our whole experience for the week was great!
