Gebucht wurde 1 Jahr vorher und 1 Woche vor Anreise könnten sie die Buchung nicht mehr finden. Warscheinlich wurde die Ferienwohnung noch an andere Personen vermietet. Sehr sehr schlechter Service, kein Support um das Problem zu lösen. Man reagiert einfach nicht auf Anrufe oder Email und sitzt das Problem einfach aus. Super schlechter Support."

"Heerlijke week gehad in de herfstvakantie. Huis is ruim. Inventaris is uitgebreid, grepen bijna nergens op mis. Alles werkt, al is het meubilair en de keukenappatatuur en -inventaris veelal wat verouderd. Geen 4 maar 3 slaapkamers (2x 2persoons en 1x 4 persoons). Het huis is goed te verwarmen en het uitzicht is prachtig. Rustige lokatie, met veel privacy vlak bij uitvalsweg. Beperkte wandelmogelijkheden bij het huis, hiervoor dien je een paar kilometer te rijden. Vriendelijke eigenaar."

Wonderful Respite

"We were amazed to find that this hotel was so nice in such a remote location. The rooms were simple, but clean and comfortable. The common areas were a step up - a patio overlooking the lake and the rushing river, sofas with a fireplace, and wine, beers and ciders to cheer from the front desk. Cocktails could also be ordered from the restaurant downstairs. The morning buffet had a lot of variety: eggs, potatoes, meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc. (see my photos on Trip Advisor). In the evening, the restaurant turns into a lovely spot for a quiet dinner with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. The menu is limited, but excellent in quality (on the pricier side). Before and after hiking, we were glad we did not have to look elsewhere for meals. There is a washer available (fee), and the door stays locked by the front desk. I really appreciated that. You can also store your luggage. When you book at this hotel, they offer a ride up to Skjeggedal P2 in early season if you also book with Trolltunga Active for the hike. The owner gave us a ride up. His company is interested in preserving the environment around the Trolltunga trail, so they don't swim or wander far off the trails. I respect that. It was an all-in-one stay that made our logistics easier, and I highly recommend the whole package. "

"Great breakfast, recommended restaurants are good, lots of parking front and back although sadly none reserved for disabled, helpful staff, great location especially for shuttle bus to trolltunga P2. Great views from the front although noisy in the street until circa 02.00 at a weekend"

"Sigurd’s home is absolutely lovely. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with a wonderful view. But more importantly, the house is spotless and equipped with everything you need to have a home away from home. We hated leaving. And he responded to any needs we had right away. The entire experience was easy and made is feel welcome. We enjoyed spending time there more than even driving around. We would go back without hesitation."
