Property was great for our long weekend with family. Great location, plenty of room for 3 couples, well-stocked kitchen, great views of the lake and the sunset.
Nice location and beach front. Especially liked the boat lift which made easy docking for my boat. House was nicely air conditioned except for the sunroom but that was nice in the morning and late evening. Our dogs had trouble with the metal stairs to the water, but they managed. Overall we had a nice stay.
We had a great time at the house for a long weekend. An easy drive to places of interest including several wineries and the town of Geneva. It was great to be right on the water with amenities provided like kayaks, beach gear, a fire pit, and more. Would stay again!
Thank you Sandra! Our group had a great time at the cabin lounging on the dock, kayaking and exploring the finger lakes. The property was beautiful and conveniently located, parking was easy, and check in was convenient.
My family and I had a wonderful stay on Seneca Lake and really enjoyed being on the water, spending time on the dock, and relaxing in the sun. Both of my children enjoyed taking the kayaks out, jumping off the dock, and the private beach. Geneva was a 20 minute drive from the house and had some nice restaurants, and Cayuga and Canandaigua were not too far away to enjoy as well.
Beautiful, well appointed lake house. Everything you need for a successful lake vacation. Sandra was a fantastic host. In a perfect location for visiting all the region has to offer.
Property was even better than advertised. Right on Seneca Lake with its famous sunsets. Many toys and game for our 4 year old granddaughter. We had a great stay!
We had the best time staying at this property! The house is spacious and the views could not be beat! We spent a ton of time sitting on the dock.. we fished and we watched the amazing sunsets every evening. We loved that kayaks & a canoe were available to use… as well as cornhole boards. There were a ton of games & dvds available to use too. This property was close to so many fun wineries.. and only a couple minutes from Sampson State Park, which had mini golf and a great playground. This is a great area to stay in. Owners were super responsive and provided lots of recommendations for things to do.
The location of this rental is excellent. The views of Lake Seneca are stunning. We saw a Bald Eagle, osprey, hummingbirds, gulls, and Canada Geese. The property is well-equipped for water recreation and the kitchen has everything a chef could need.
The house was clean and easy to access. Great parking. The dock and fire pit were perfect for gathering. The sunsets were gorgeous and so nice to watch from the house and the dock. Perfect space to cook and eat. Very happy with our stay. 9 women and we were very comfortable.
Sandra and Greg Busby provided us with the perfect solution to our needs while attending the local dog shows. Their house had enough space for our group. In addition, it allowed us to easily swim our dogs in the lake. We highly recommend this house and the Busby's hospitality.
Right on the water, quiet neighborhood, lots of deck space and dock. Plenty of room inside, big kitchen for group prep and cooking. Amazing sun porch, we spent so much time in there, unbelievable sunsets. Plenty of books, movies and games to use. Close to wineries and breweries, yet away from the traffic and noise.
Our stay was wonderful! The property was as scenic as advertised. Sunsets are awesome and the reflection of the sunrise off of the homes across the lake was awe-inspiring! We’d hoped to utilize the kayaks and canoes, but time just got away from us. Our host was so nice when we needed an electric pump for our inner tubes, and super responsive the couple of times we reached out. The scenery and location make this place perfect!
Comfortable, clean, and very well-stocked house. Direct lake access. Excellent communication from host. It was everything we wanted for our annual family vacation. I have rented a bunch of different houses over the years and this is the first time I requested to rent the same house next year!
Overall our stay was fabulous! Great location, very spacious, and lots to offer including kayaks, lake floaties, games, etc. only complaint was there are areas in the house with some water damage, and at night there is an excessive amount of spiders outside surrounding the front door. Otherwise, would definitely stay here again!
Had an amazing week at this lakefront property. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities you could need! The kitchen was spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit together in the dining room. The sunroom overlooking the lake was a favorite spot for trading, playing games, etc. The dock was perfect for sitting by the lake with a cup of coffee in the morning or to enjoy the beautiful sunsets at night. Both single and double kayaks were available to take out as well. Absolutely loved this house and would stay here again!
Great home location! Close and commanding view of the lake. Loved the trees, the sun room looking out on the lake and closeness to many wineries and only 20 mins. or so to Geneva. A perfect home for a visit with family and/or friends. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable kitchen table. Easy walk to Sampson State Park. Definitely would return. Greatly enjoyed the beautiful sun sets. The owner was very easy to work with and very responsive.
The extra large, modern, well-stocked kitchen made meal preps so easy. Loved using the modern, convenient laundry appliances. Plenty of sitting areas inside and out. Every household supply was thoughtfully stocked. Watching the lake, the birds*, beautiful sunsets, going for long walks, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, shoreline fossil hunting, campfires, touring White Deer Haven and the military museum at Sampson Park all made for an enchanting Finger Lakes family vacation. Plenty of peace, quiet and privacy.

Everything was perfect!! The house has everything!! Kitchen is so well stocked. The sunsets are just breathtaking!! We used the kayaks and bikes and had a blast. It was really great to be right next to Sampson State Park where we could ride the bikes. Most of our time at the house was spent sitting in the cozy sunroom. Also, so close to so many wineries. Only about a half hour to Watkins Glen State Park, which is a must see and do. The Gorge Trail was amazing!! Great communication with Sandra. We would totally stay here again. Thanks again Sandra!!
This is our 4th annual friend trip and the house was just what we needed. We aren’t too picky when it comes to lake cabins as long as it fits everyone (we generally focus more on location, views, and outdoor space) but this place exceeded our expectations. It comfortably slept 6 of us (could have fit even more). The air conditioning was perfect because the days were hot. The sunroom (and living room too) had beautiful views for our one rainy evening . The porch was my favorite, I spent every morning out there. I loved that the sun set over the lake so we felt like we had longer days.
The kitchen was spacious and we were able to grill, have fires, swim, and relax. Having two bathrooms was a nice bonus! And the dogs were also super comfortable :)
One fun surprise was that when we were walking we found a back entrance to the state park! (There is a pass available for if we wanted to drive over which was about 5 minutes away). But the back entrance was about a half mile and we found it on one of our morning runs! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly . The hosts were easy to contact but we didn’t even need to! Everything went so smoothly.
We had a great time and would definitely come back!
