Vicolo delle Grotte is a colorful and cozy newly renovated apartment, located just a few meters from Campo de’ Fiori.

Rome Stay

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was a two minute walk to a daily market and dining. We were able to walk everywhere to see all the attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here and would book this apartment on a return trip.

Central base for city exploration

Great location for city adventures. Clean and convenient. Requires some updates and refurbs for a “night in” to compete with a “night out” at one of Rome’s great spots.

Perfect location for all the sights!

We loved the location as it was in walkable distance to many of the main historical sites. The flat was perfect for our family of three. It was well stocked and the check in/out process was a breeze. It was also near a square with a market and many restaurants (some gluten free ones too!) We always felt safe and would book again!

Nice location.

Our stay was ok. The air conditioning didn’t work well at all. Sent a message about it and was told they will have to have someone look at it. If you are planning on hanging in the living room area there is absolutely no air in that area. There was a fan in there at least. We were only there a few days so didn’t make a fuss about it. The location is very good. The market and lots of restaurants are just around the corner.

Comfortable, great location

We stayed with our teen daughter- convenient location and very comfortable accommodations. There’s a washing machine on premises but also a laundromat across the street! Beds comfortable, A/C and fam for warmer days; charming decor. Highly recommend!

Great neighborhood in Rome

We enjoyed our stay - apartment was spotless clean and well laid out it was perfect for a family of four. Apartment could use some more wine glasses otherwise it was great. Loved the neighbourhood and how close to such great restaurants and shops. Would stay again

Great location for a city break

The apartment is very well-situated for a short city break - we were less than 30 mins' walk from St Peter's in one direction, and the Colosseum in the other. We were met at the appointed time by a friendly representative of the host who showed us around the apartment - and gave us a great restaurant tip! The apartment itself is very comfortable - clean, really nicely decorated and furnished. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely stay in Rome

We loved our stay at Francesca’s property. We were delighted to find how close we were to a huge open air market with stalls of fresh foods and beautiful hand crafted items for purchase. It’s literally around the corner from the apartment. We found the apartment well stocked for our cooking needs and very comfortable although we didn’t spend much time in it as the area is so full of life and a short walk to the main tourist attractions. Francesca was very helpful and prompt at answering all our questions and she arranged transport for us to the airport on our final day. We loved our stay and felt like we were a part of the village (city) of Rome in this beautifully located apartment.

Large Apartment in Fantastic Location!

The Apartment is good sized with a large living room w/ Pull-out Sofa Bed, Kitchen and Master Bedroom. Location is the best part being in Regola only a minute walk from Campo de Fiori, yet on a small alley so a little quieter than being on a main street so close to the plaza. Also only a 5 minute walk from Trastavere via Ponte Sisto with that entire area very lively full of people, street entertainers, restaurants and bars! Lots of markets nearby to stock up on water and other necessities. Only downsides were 1) person that checked us in did not show us that you could access an inner terrace off of which was the laundry room for the apartment, 2) we never could find the iron and ironing board that was listed for the apartment, and 3) there are only AC units in the Master Bedroom and Kitchen, so the living room tends to get very hot during the heat of the day. Overall, a fantastic stay and the owner was very responsive via telephone during normal operating hours. Thank You!

Good location near to market and lots of nice places to eat. The alley looks a bit dodgy to start with but it is ok and usually people walking through and it did feel safe.The staff were great when we had a power cut and were quick to respond even though it was 8pm at night. The apartment is dark due to it being down a narrow street, and there is only AC in the main bedroom and kitchen so the kids struggled a bit on the pull out bed - but a fan was provided. Kitchen facilities were excellent. It also had a washing machine which we found really valuable. This was a lovely place to stay and gave us lots of flexibility to explore out. Buses were easy to get to and get round the city. We enjoyed our time in Rome, thank you!

We enjoyed our time in Roma. The Mercado was amazing. The food there was amazing as well. The apart.ent dis not have working AC. That was the only downside.

Could be cleaner. Coffee machine was broke but we used the French press. No balcony. Overall it wasn’t bad but had room for improvement. Kids loved it. - location was amazing. Host was great and check in was perfect.
