About this property
Unforgettable 'Roman Holidays' on foot between monuments and fountains - free WiFi
The apartment, of ca. 40 square meters, completely renovated, on the first floor, in a 17th century building, it is truly in the center of Rome (as you can read from the testimonies), in Piazza Costaguti 29. Between Largo Argentina (with the remains of ancient Roman temples) and Tiber Island, it is a few hundred meters from Piazza Venezia, Pantheon, S. Luigi dei Francesi (with the famous paintings by Caravaggio), Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Farnese, via Giulia and Teatro di Marcello, Imperial Forums and Colosseum. It is the ideal location for visiting the entire city center on foot, constantly discovering new, delicious corners from which to start and stop in the numerous pizzerias, restaurants, pastry shops and ice cream parlors that offer spoiled for choice. You can visit the entire ancient city on foot!

The host was extremely welcoming, gave us lots of information about what to see and do. She provided us with a welcome feast of charcuterie and home made crostata enough for four(we are only two. The location is excellent, close to many major attractions. The apartment is spacious but the fittings snd furniture are somewhat aged. We had a fabulous three days here. Thanks Manuela
We enjoyed our stay in Rome, Emanuela was terrific host, kind , helpful, excellent communicator, she even made snacks and a croststa as welcome gift. Cannot say enough good things about the host. The only negative regarding this property are the narrow stairs leading to the first floor.
Property owner was very available and gracious. The location was excellent and the property was warm and comfortable. If are going to Rome, this is the place to stay Brava Emmanuel’s, Grazie mille.
The owner of the place was so nice! She provided a clean beautiful place that made us feel right at home!

Great location, easy walking distance to all the main attractions and shops.
A range of nice eating place right downstairs.
The apartment is compact with 3 adults but has everything you need and the host is incredibly helpful.
Beautiful little apartment right above a fantastic Italian café, and bakery in the Jewish ghetto section. Great location to walk the entire city. The host was absolutely amazing, she met us at the property with a gorgeous breakfast and was so kind to walk us through the entire apartment. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.
We loved staying here! Manuela was amazing with communication leading up to our stay! She had pizza and olives and cheese waiting for us! It was in an amazing location with a coffee shop below and many restaurants nearby! Loved it!
It couldn't be better located. You can walk to all main attraction, and some are right outside your front door! The 17 stairs are no big deal. The light and charm make up for it!
Emanuela was a amazing fantastic host!!! Her apartment is in a perfect place to enjoy Rome, walking distance to the sites, great food right next to the apartment with many restaurants. I would recommend anyone wanting to visit to try this place!!!!
My adult daughter and I stayed in this apartment during our visit to Rome. Manuela was an incredible hostess. She had baked breads and sweets and made espresso for us upon our arrival. The apartment is darling and a comfy place to stay. It is in the perfect location and we walked everywhere to see the sights of Rome. We loved it and I’ll be booking again for next year.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Manuela at this historic home. She was so wonderful about communicating and there was nothing else we needed. There are two sets of steps but not a problem. The location was terrific - we walked everywhere - most were only a 15 minute walk.
Emanuela was a delightful host: she prepared a cake and pizza for our arrival along with drinks. Plenty of sunlight in the apartment which was very comfortable and 'homey'.
The location of the apartment was perfect: next to all the historic sites, attractions and excellent restaurants. This was a very warm, attractive place to spend a week in Rome!
This was a very enjoyable stay in Rome. Emanuella was so very nice and welcoming. She had a selection of Roman pizza, meats and olives on the table for us on arrival. She had even baked a beautiful and delicious tart for us! There was water, Coke and even a bottle of wine in the refrigerator! Completely unexpected, but very much appreciated. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. There is a certain rustic feeling, so it just feels like it belongs there. The location in the historic Jewish Ghetto is a car free piazza with bakeries and wonderful restaurants nearby. Ancient ruins in sight from the window. Amazing!!If we return to Roma, we would gladly stay here again. Grazie mille, Manu!!
Emanuela was friendly and welcoming and had prepared snacks for us on arrival plus a list of recommendations and directions for the area. The location was within walking distance of the major attractions and the Trastevere neighborhood where we spent several evenings. The apartment was cozy and had a comfortable bed. A little bit of street noise overnight, but that's to be expected for the location. Would stay there again!
Manuela is an amazing host and my daughter and I loved her. She had food on the table for us when we first got to the apartment and is so sweet.
The apartment is in an amazing location with a bakery just below the apartment and coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It is in a wonderful location, within walking distance of everything you’ll want to see.
I stayed here last year and came back for a second stay this September. We loved it!

It was our honor to stay in such an incredibly well-appointed and historic apartment. Upon arrival, we were graciously greeted by Emmanuella, who had a variety of Italian delicacies ready, and a warm heart to greet us.
She was incredibly accommodating and extremely thorough in her communication and instructions. Additionally, she patiently provided us with a general layout of the area, and provided some “must do” attractions and eateries on the map.
The WiFi worked well all week, the bed was extremely comfortable and lots of sunlight.
If you are seeking a true, authentic Roman experience - in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto, look no further.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was excellent in communicating with us and was very helpful with any questions we had. The place was immaculate and well-stocked with complimentary drinks, coffee, and teas. The stove functioned perfectly, and we were delighted to find pizzas ready for us upon arrival. The location was central to attractions and restaurants, making it convenient to return to the apartment for a midday rest. The only minor issue was that the air conditioner struggled to cool the entire apartment, likely due to the extremely hot weather outside. Overall, we had a fantastic time.
The apartment is in an excellent central location, very well equipped and walking distance to all major attractions, including the Vatican. The apartment is in a vibrant community so on Saturday evening the noise level from the restaurants was noticeable until midnight. But that's the case pretty much anywhere is Rome. The host, Emanuela, is very responsive and very helpful. She even prepared a welcome charcuterie with cheese, sliced Italian meets, fruit and pizza. Pretty amazing! The apartment is very roomy for 2 people, has a good sized shower and well equipped kitchen. Excellent value!
