Francesco was very responsive in communicating prior to our arrival, making the check in process seamless. Property was as advertised … clean and spacious for our family of five adults. Property had everything we needed with no issues. Great location … close to Roma Termini Station with lots of restaurants nearby. If you don’t mind walking, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and other attractions are walking distance. Definitely would recommend this property.

Such an amazing property! Francesco was amazing and was very accommodating for our check-in. He gave us so much help explaining all about the property and gave recommendations. The place itself is such a great location. So easy to access from Termini station! And having all those rooms meant that we could fit everyone in our party. The place itself is so well done and everything inside is so thoughtful. There is an elevator so no need to walk up stairs. The kitchen is all fully stocked with any utensils or pans that you would need. 100% would recommend this place!!!

Lovely place!!!!

We are the best time from start to finish!!!Apartment is clean the owner is super friendly super nice!! When above and beyond to be sure that we were comfortable knew where we were going how to get there could not ask for a sweeter owner!!I would hands-down go back to this location, super convenient to the metro and to the trains!The number of restaurants that are right around that general area all delicious all reasonably priced!Thank you, thank you thank you as we had the best time on our trip

Absolutely loved this place!

My daughter, sister, a friend, and I stayed in Francesco’s apartment for a few days and it was lovely. Very clean, comfortable, well appointed (we appreciated the little touches from Francesco’s wife!). We loved the location, and Francesco was very helpful. Very cool old apartment with lots of character. Absolutely recommend - we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect base to explore Rome

Great property, close to the train. The host was there to check us in and walk through everything when we arrived. Several restaurants and stores nearby. Hop on Hop off tour buses by train station. Was perfect for our needs, would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Francesco’s apartment, spotlessly clean, extremely well stocked, great wifi, comfy beds & only a few minutes walk to Rome Termini. A supermarket close by as well as several non touristy restaurants. Highly recommended

It was a pleasure to stay at this flat. Francesco was very accommodating and communitive. The unit was clean and well maintained. Lots of places to eat in the neighborhood and the host provides suggestions of good eateries. It is walking distant to the train terminal. Would stay here again!

Great visit to Rome

The place was well equipped in a great location. Very close to the Termini train station which made it easy to get to places. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Very clean and an excellent host. I was with my two adult children, so we each had our own rooms. It could comfortably handle another 2 or 3 people. I highly recommend staying in there.

Our host met us at the apartment and was very accommodating to let us check in early. He gave us a tour and explained all the amenities. Very helpful and friendly. The apartment was lovely. Spacious and well appointed. Location was very close to train station and buses, in a quiet neighborhood with many restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location

The apartment was clean and in walking distance to the Termini. It had 4 comfortable beds, kitchen, 2 great bathrooms. Small elevator, but that was better than climbing 5 flights of stairs! No complaints at all.

We had a wonderful time staying at “Lovely house”. Francesco was very welcoming and had great communication. The apartment was spacious, clean and fully equipped. There was lots of charming art and stylish decor. The bathrooms were great and the kitchen was well equipped. Access was good with a lift and the area was convenient for the train station and travelling into the centre. Overall thoroughly recommend this place.

Great space- great location

We were worried about the safety of the area, since it is so close to the Termini station. But we need not have worried, the area felt totally safe, the building was secure, and the location was amazing- so easy to reach almost anywhere in Rome. The space was beautiful and spacious and Francesco went out of his way to meet us and get us checked in and settled. We highly recommend this apartment!

Beautiful Apartment in a Wonderful Neighbourhood of Rome

The apartment was very nice and Francesco was very helpful. We stayed 5 nights and the location could not have been better for us. Only 5 minutes from the train station and the surrounding neighbourhood is full of amazing cafes and restaurants while not busy. 20-30 minute walk from all major tourist sites such as the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. If you don’t mind being outside the Center of the main tourist attractions and would like cheaper, more authentic food, I would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and another friend and I stayed in this lovely apartment. It would easily have accommodated six people. We especially appreciated the oversized luxurious towels and in-unit dishwasher and clothes washer. The drying rack worked perfectly, too. Francisco was a perfect host and the apartment is perfectly located a short walk from Roma Termini. That meant easy access to the Metro and also trains for our day trips. I highly recommend this lodging and would stay here again.

Tour of Italy

We came in from Milan on the train and this unit was a mere 3 city blocks straight down the street when exiting from the right side station exit/entrance door after leaving the train boarding area. Very convenient, nice quiet neighborhood that was close to restaurants and grocery stores. When leaving, we walked back to the same train station and took a train to the FCO airport without a stop!! Couldn't have worked out any better. The VRBO was beautiful and spacious. Old charm with new amenities. Really quite pleasant. and Francesco was amazing and attentive to any question we had! Highly recommend!

“The Lovely House” is Fantastic!

This VRBO is indeed lovely! Well appointed 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom- and accurate to the pictures online- perfect for our family of 6! Air conditioning in every room was excellent- and needed in the summer heat. Location was great- close to Termini, shops, restaurants, grocery store and the neighborhood felt a little quieter and slightly less busy than others- a welcome treat after long days of sightseeing! Francesco was responsive to questions, and on-site door person was also very helpful. I have already recommended The Lovely House to family and friends, it was our first time using VRBO and I would use it again! Thank you Francesco for sharing your Lovely House with us- it was a gem!
