Great location for visiting Rome by foot. Really close to all important touristic attractions and also close to the railway station Termini. Delicious breakfast, thank you Barbara! Things to improve: tv cable didn't work at all times and also the cleaning lady did not pass in 3 days to empty the garbage can.

When I first got there had a problem coming out of the room area as the elevator is not the same one to go to the lobby, you have to go to the next one and switch. Well there’s a door that you need to open with the key car. The door was stuck we could not get out went up nothing there , went back down and nothing there( found out after the big doors lead you to the street) I started to freak out , had to text our friends to come and get us out as we were at the point of panic. After the experience and screaming I wanted another room where all my other friends were , I was able to compose myself and the rest is history. Had a very nice stay. The staff and Andrea were very accommodating.

Overall it is a good property and service. Most good location hotels will be in old buildings so that is a given. Only hazel is the size in the shower... 3x3 feet.

No lock on the inside of door or bathroom door. Has an outlet for USB but it isnt connected to anything. The toilet seat fell off when I opened it. The door to the bathroom doesnt open all the way, it hits the shower. We asked them not to clean our room and they did. While doing that they somehow unplugged my charger for my phone and it got tossed behind the night stand. The fridge didnt work and hasbnt for a long time based off the look of it. When we told them they said "oh really" The bed had a very old stained mattress on it that I wish I didnt look at. It had lots of stains and not mattress cover. Just a fitted sheet. The floor was also missing some pieces and just made to look like it was normal. The AC worked-ish. It never felt cool. Just not as hot as out side. I will not reccomemnd anyone to stay here. We had friends stay one hotel over and it was so much nices for a very similar price.

Clearly states there’s parking. There’s no parking and there’s also no parking nearby. And the guy at the front desk said to park on the street and wasn’t very helpful. Had to park almost a mile away and leave the car overnight in a shady area.

Great Location! Very friendly staff. Air conditioning worked great. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Bathroom needs shower drain to be fixed to stop clogging, & shower is very small! (In 4 ppl family room) and mold spots on bathroom ceiling should be cleaned. Mattresses extremely hard, not comfortable at all.

Relied on ratings I saw on Expedia was surprised when we got to the room. Check in was great super nice but when they met us at the room they came & sprayed the floor and different areas which all I could do is look at my hulsband. There was (body) hair on the bathroom floor around the toilet the shower was moldy, the room had an lingering odor not in a good way the bed was super hard & not sure if the sheets even had a thread count so we slept on the comforter found in the closet. Blow dryer worked great The staff was great the rooms need TLC I a know it’s a 3 star but the hair & mold is gross

I remember that the room, even if triple, was booked for one person, so arriving and thinking of finding separate beds because you decided to bring another person without notifying the hotel first, I don't think it could have been a fault. However, it seems to me that the problem was quickly overcome by assigning a room with 4 beds. Probably giving a rating from 1 made you happy.

Perfect location, so many great restaurants nearby. Close walk to the colosseum and other sites. Also very close to the metro. Only downfall was that we were given the wrong room even after going to have it corrected. We paid for the biggest room with two king beds & received a room with one double bed, we went to have it corrected and we were given a room with 3 single beds and were told that’s all that was available. Not sure how to be refunded for what I paid for.

The location is amazing - just minutes from the colosseum and forum and much more. Also surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Our room had a balcony which was also lovely.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Rome with all the sights within walking distance. Rooms a little dated but spotlessly clean, fresh towels etc and beds made up every day. We knew we wouldn’t be spending a lot of time in the hotel room on this city break but the staff were helpful and hospitable regardless. We found cafes and bars/restaurants to enjoy breakfast in as the choices didn’t really suit my daughter’s taste. Given the option again I would have gone for the “room only” board basis. Overall a great break in a beautiful city. We love Italy!!!

All the people at Solis are great. This hotel is close to all most all the sites my husband and I wanted to see. Only to see the Vatican did we need a taxi. There are plenty of places to eat close by. They provide breakfast every morning. Everyone here greats you with a smile.

It’s right in the middle of the action, but if you get a room in the back, you’ll have a balcony in a quiet courtyard. The double doors both open and there is room for a table with two chairs This place is reasonable priced and an easy walk to the forum & to the arena. You are steps away from at least three cafes, one of which is Indian. The bathroom is huge and well lite. ... with a bidets!

I arrived before check in time and my room was ready. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The breakfast is continental but good. The lady who made our cappuccinos every morning was super friendly and nice. Made us feel welcomed every morning.. this hotel is walking distance to termini station, forum, colosseum, piazza navona and other places. I would stay here again!

This is not a five star hotel but it has everything you need to have an awesome vacation. Thank you to all the staff who was so attentive and made our stay that much memorable. To the lady at the breakfast spot you are amazing and made my morning each day. The hotel was walking distance to coliseum and forum. There’s ac and the breakfast is not a buffet but there’s enough food to keep you full. I would recommend this hotel for families and couples. Super satisfied with my stay.

When we first entered the hotel, the concierge at the reception desk was on the phone and didn’t even acknowledge us for 5 minutes until he finished the call. This didn’t impress me at first, but once attended to, it was smooth sailing. Although old, the hotel is pleasant and authentic. Breakfast was included and was simple yet sufficient and satisfying. Fantastically located near many sites and only 5 minutes from the Colosseum. Lots of shops and places to eat nearby. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable.
