Gianiculum apartment

  • Cozy apartment in the Gianicolo area (the hill above Trastevere).
    Among the most prestigious areas of Rome, 5 minutes walk from Villa Pamphili park, 1 km from the heart of Trastevere and 15 minutes by bus from Piazza Venezia.

    The apartment is on the first floor with lift and consists of two bedrooms, living room with kitchenette and bathroom. The whole thing is completed by a 16 m2 terrace. where you can relax in the summer after a long day of hiking. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and latest generation double glazed windows.
    The neighborhood is very quiet and private, away from the noise of the historic center but easily accessible.
    Free Wifi throughout the house.
    Renovated in May 2023

    As required by current legislation, the tourist tax of €6.00 ​​is due and must be paid in cash upon check-in.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is a great size, with everything you'd need inside and in a great location with easy access to nearby shops. Also, being based in Montverde it is within comfortable walking distance/ easy transport links to major attractions in the city. The walk down the hill offers stunning views or the city! Arturo offers great communication and a really smooth check-in/out process. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

The host, Arturo, was great. He was very helpful and informative. It is a nice quiet area with easy access to a bus stops and a train station. Nearby are various restaurant options, a minimart and a supermarket. We walked to many of the Rome tourist attractions but there are some hills and stairs on the routes. The apartment was well equipped.

Excellent accommodation in Trastevere, Rome. From the moment the booking was complete, the owner Arturo was very communicative and helpful, sending all the relevant information on a variety of topics ranging from food options in the neighborhood, must see attractions to visit but also safety and local grocery shopping (2-minute walk from the apartment). The apartment is spacious for two or three people traveling together and the two bedrooms are large and have both air conditioner, which was a blessing in the scorching Rome heat! The apartment also has access to a washing machine, which comes in handy if you have been on the road for more than a week! The apartment is located 10-15 minutes walking from the heart of Trastevere. It is located outside the historic center of Rome, so travelers should know that they will need to either walk or take transport to get around. This was not an issue in our case and we appreciated being in a quiet part of Rome. Would definitely stay there again!
