We were 6 women in our group and appreciated having a home to enjoy vs a 3 hotel rooms. Each of us were able to have our own bedroom and there was plenty of space to gather together in the kitchen, library and living room. We really enjoyed our time together in this home. The hosts bent over backwards to address our needs and provide support. Thank you so much!
We really liked our stay here! I came with a group of 9 friends and we had plenty of room. The apartment felt bigger than even advertised in the pictures. The location was awesome. Trastevere was a great neighborhood, very walkable to restaurants, shops and bars. If you don't mind a little walk, it's probably a 30 minute walk to the heart of Rome. Would definitely stay here again.
Charming spacious apartment in an established neighborhood.
We had ten in our group. We had plenty of room to spread out. I loved the big rooms and high ceilings. A great combination of old world charm with modern conveniences. The six bedrooms provided comfortable space for everyone. The elevator was large enough to fit our big suitcases.
Our host were so gracious and provided a warm welcome. There are several restaurants in walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.
Expectations were high given the online listing and it did not disappoint!
We were 8 adults and this apartment suited our needs perfectly. It was clean, spacious, well appointed and even included a clothes steamer as well as an iron for convenience. I don't think any of us were missing anything - except maybe pillows. (North Americans typically use more than one pillow per person so having extras would be welcome).
While we didn't spend a lot of time in the neighborhood (travelled into Rome), what we did see and experience was a delight. At no time did we feel unsafe or unsure about walking in the evening.
Marco was an amazing host and quick to respond to questions or requests. All in all, this was a wonderful way to end our 4 city Italian trip and we would book this property again with no hesitation.
Great location and space for 9 people! Enjoyed the location with grocery stores, restaurants, and bars in easy walking distance. Tram and bus access just down the street to get to historic sites. Apartment was clean and had great space to spend time together or apart as needed. Host was welcoming upon arrival and coordinating car service. No issues at all during our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the apartment. Marco was there to welcome us. His parents were there when we went back for a single night prior to flying out. They gave us a wonderful assortment of pastries prior to leaving to fly back to the States.
Apartment is very nice. The antique details, stained glass, furniture, terrace off the kitchen are all beautiful however, the tenant from below the apartment, came pounding on our door at night. He claimed that the shower was leaking into his apartment and said we could not run the water. Toilets did not flush and there was no hot water. Host was very apologetic, however, an apology did not solve the problem. We only stayed one night. I hope that the plumbing issues were resolved and future visitors do not have the same issues that we had.
Our hosts were very accommodating with great communication!! Beautiful apartment in a cool neighborhood. Easy to get around town from our place. And it had AC!! Would highly recommend!!
Great place with great decor, comfortably big enough for a group of 9
The host met us upon arrival and showed us the place. It was very clean and we were surprised at how large the communal spaces were. We were having our wedding in Rome, and the library room, lounge room and lobby stairs were so nice we took our getting ready photos there. The host Marco was very responsive on WhatsApp and when we needed something he was quick to help.
This property was exactly as described and it was definitely worth the stay. We typically stay in hotels but I am glad that we go to experience the true beauty of this apartment. My grandchildren were excited to see an old style phone and typewriter. Property owners were very responsive and addressed a small hiccup but no complaints from us at all. Thanks for everything!
HISTORIC and beautiful!! Step inside to another time. Every room has intricate tile floors and interior designed to the period. We stayed only one night and wish we could have more time. Marco gave a thorough explanation of the apartment features. Views from stained glass windows and balconies do not disappoint.
I can’t say enough good things about this property and its hosts. Beautiful, clean, spacious apartment in a great location. The hosts, Marco and.Annalise were very helpful and accommodating. They made excellent recommendations for nearby, restaurants and shops and also arranged transportation from the airport to their apartment and from the apartment to the cruise terminal in Rome. We were a party of 10 and found the apartment, very spacious and beautifully adorned with wonderful antiques. Thank you so much Marco and.Annalise for allowing us to stay in your fantastic room apartment. We will be sure to pass on our recommendations of your property to our friends and family, and you will no doubt see us back in the future.

Amazing apartment and location!
This is a splendid apartment. We traveled with 9 adults. It was spacious, well maintained and beautifully decorated. We had fast wifi, plenty of kitchenware and very comfy beds. The owners were extremely welcoming and very helpful. The location is perfect for traveling anywhere in Rome. I certainly would stay again and recommend to family and friends.
The apartment served as home base for our extended family of 9 over the Christmas holiday. An absolutely beautiful apartment with a ton of old building charm and even an elevator which was a must considering the oldest of us has some significant mobility issues. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the main section of Trastevere but perfectly located in a quiet area of a large street. I cannot say enough how welcoming and helpful the hosts were. Truly excellent people who care about the quality of your stay and we’re always reachable but never imposing. Absolutely the best vacation rental we’ve ever used and would stay again the next time we are in Rome.
The apartment is spacious and well appointed
The neighborhood has a lot of graffiti, making us feel uneasy ! It is close to most attractions and public tram and bus are right in front so it is convenient
It is quite noisy due to the tram running all night
There is no parking if you are driving...itis difficult to find parking nearby
We went to Rome to see our son at John Cabot University. Long before we arrived, Annalise took our flight information and arranged a car from the airport at a reasonable price.
A week before our arrival, Flaminia contacted me to see if we would like to arrange a chef to come to the apartment and give us a cooking lesson in Roman cuisine. We ate the results, and it was a truly memorable evening.
I can say we felt very comfortable with the location, and the apartment is truly spectacular. The decor is original from 1910, and it was even better than the photos online.
Thank you Annalisa and Flaminia for a memorable week in Rome.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Large apartment great for family/friends
The apartment is lovely and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 7 of us. We only stayed one night as we were headed to Civitavecchia for a cruise the morning after we arrived. The rooms facing the street had traffic noise all night. Windows were open due to lack of A/C. There were no toiletries, tissues and bath soap. Even though I confirmed our party's time of arrival, there was no one at home to receive us so the 7 of us were left with all our luggage outside the building looking like Beverly Hillbillies for about 15-20 minutes before someone came along. Owner was apologetic and got us settled in quickly.

Awesome place to stay for a large group visiting Rome
Our group of 8 found Trastevere Deco perfect for our needs. There are 13 beds (11 actual beds plus a 2-person sleeper sofa) spread among 6 bedrooms, with 3 full bathrooms. The living room/dining room was large enough for us to gather to discuss plans for the next day, when we weren't gathering in the large kitchen.
The apartment is located on the third floor of a 4-story building, with an elevator, which was important to us because we had 3 people in our group who have trouble with stairs. (The elevator is small - it fits 2 adults, or 3 people if there is a child.) If you enter the apartment through the front door from the main road, there are about 12 steps leading up to the main floor of the apartment building, where you can either catch the elevator or simply walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. However, knowing that we had some people in our group with stair issues, Flaminia and Alexandra gave us a key to the basement which is accessible from the street level (around the side of the building), which allows you to not have to climb any stairs in order to access the property because the elevator goes all the way to the basement.
The wifi was very good, and we appreciated that the apartment had deadbolts to lock from the inside when we were in for the night. The building was very quiet (we saw only 4 or 5 people in the building the entire week we were there). Flaminia and Alexandra were amazingly quick with communication, and they were so helpful - they even ordered us vans to pick us up from the airport and take us back there. The apartment was very, very clean, and stocked with plenty of towels and linens. In the kitchen were a microwave, fridge, freezer, gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine (no dryer), kettle, toaster, and plenty of plates and cups.
The apartment is located in a nice part of Trastevere; we never felt unsafe while we were there. We decided we wanted to stay in Trastevere because we had heard it was a cool neighborhood, and we knew we'd be spending most of our days sightseeing across the Tiber in the historic center. So even though we took cabs every day to leave and return to the apartment (we never attempted to figure out the public transportation system), we didn't mind because we wanted to be forced to explore as much of Rome as possible. There are several restaurants within 200 feet of the apartment, and even more (and gelato shops) within a half-mile. We would happily stay here again!
