Although the building outside seems to be very old, but B&B A Casa Di Barbara is updated, very safe, and very clean. Air conditioning is new and quiet. The wifi is fast and dependable. The B&B is home away from home. I will definitely recommend it and will surely stay here again if ever I will visit Rome again. I stayed here Aug 1, 2025 before our cruise and stayed here again after the cruise Aug 12-14, 2025.

The room was very clean. Barbara was generous with the breakfast. Wifi was very good and the air condition is quiet. My husband and I liked it a lot and we are definitely coming back.

Very comfortable

The room was very comfortable and the instructions very clear. The only things that could be improved would be some fresh fruit for breakfast and a recycling bin for plastics.

B&B excelente, recomento a todos

O local é muito aprazível e bem localizado, próximo ao metrô e à estação de trem, com acesso ao aeroporto em um percurso de cerca de 30 minutos. Sra. Angela foi muito simpática e prestativa e nos recebeu para passar todas as informações sobre nossa estadia. Havia bastante variedade de alimentos para o café da manhã, tais como bolos, pães, iogurtes e sucos. A limpeza do local era impecável e o banheiro contava com shampoo, sabonetes, álcool gel e secador. O melhor de tudo foi a recepção calorosa, por isso agradecemos especialmente à Fátima, que nos auxiliou em tudo, até nos acompanhou à estação de trem. Recomento a todos que queiram se hospedar num lugar tranquilo e residencial em Roma.

Cozy stay outside the Center

A casa di Barbara offered a great location, a very comfortable stay, and excellent value. We liked being outside the center with its hordes of tourists, but close to a train station and Metro stop so we could get anywhere we wanted to go quickly (when we didn’t feel like walking). Lots of great dining options, bars, cafés, gelaterie, etc very close by.

Come stare in famiglia

This quaint B&B is situated in the Ostiense district just a few blocks from Pyramid plaza. If you want a taste of real Rome, this is it. We arrived early and so Ms. Barbara had arraigned for Fatima to get us in the door. Barbara came later and it was like staying with family. So friendly, inviting, and clean.

A Great Place To Stay For A Roman Vacay!

We decided to take a short Roman vacation and B & B Casa di Barbara was the perfect location. Just a block from the Metro and train station, with many great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Compact, but clean bathroom and shower. Breakfast accommodations were a little sparse, but the cappuccino and espresso were fantastic! I would highly recommend for a quick Roman getaway!

Barbaras Mutter hat sich sehr liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Die Lage in dem aufstrebenden Viertel Ostiense ist super, es gibt viele Restaurants und Bars. Es ist zwar immer laut, aber das hat uns nicht gestört, denn wir waren abends eh müde vom Sightseeing. Und es gibt Ohrstöpsel für empfindliche Gäste. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und für das Frühstück war auch alles reichlich da. Zur Metro sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Es hat uns hier viel besser als in einem Hotel gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke Barbara und danke auch an Deine Mama!

Nice but there is no proper breakfast...

Hotel was nice and clean, location was pretty good. But breakfast was actually disappointment. Had to go every morning elsewhere to find something to eat. Good thing was that water or bubble water was available all the time by hotel.

A un passo da tutto

Barbara e la sua mitica mamma sono due persone eccezionali,sempre gentili e disponibili. La struttura è accogliente e confortevole, pulita e vicinissima alla stazione treno/metro Piramide e,quindi, comodissima per spostarsi rapidamente verso qualsiasi parte della città. Non era la prima volta che soggiornavo da Barbara e penso proprio che non sarà l'ultima!

Barbara kümmert sich um einen guten Einstieg, erklärt und gibt gute Tipps für die Stadt. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, aber selbst in unmittelbarer Nähe hast du Restaurants, das beste Eis Roms und Supermärkte. Es ist etwas laut, aber wer gut mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen kann, der hat überhaupt keine Probleme.es ist eine richtig gute Unterkunft!!!!
