"Our first trip to Croatia. We stayed for a week during very hot weather. The pool and wellness facilities were excellent. The a/c in the room was great and accommodation all very comfortable. We loved the vibe in Novigrad and ate at a few of the restaurants, just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a lovely park you can walk to where there is easy access to swim in the sea. We had free parking at the hotel and had days out inPorec, umag and rovinj."

"Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace…"

The facility is beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful and worked very hard to make our time there feel special. "Don’t be put off by the lack of reviews - this place is great. Recently done out. Rooms immaculate. Dining hall the same and a great variety of food. Wonderful seafront location with delightful walk to Piran and Portoroz nearby the other way. Staff all really helpful. Great pool just by the sea. Lovely little row of gift shops between the rooms and the pool area. Only thing was you had to pay for sun loungers but I think quite a few places do that in Italy. We were two adults and three children who came for a rest after travelling for a week and it was brilliant."

"This was our second visit to the Lone Hotel, and once again we were not disappointed. The Hotel is immaculate, and its modern, clean-line design is impressive. We booked a Grand Double Room overlooking the the Cape Forest and pool. It was spacious, well presented, and came with a large balcony that made the stay feel even more special. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection, and every member of staff we spoke to was polite and courteous. A special mention goes to Milena ( we hope we spelt her name correctly) who worked both breakfast room and restaurant. She was always smiling, friendly and chatty a fantastic example of excellent customer service. The Lone Hotel should be proud to have her on their team. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent, and we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone planning a holiday Rovinj. For transfers from the airport we booked through Maistra Hotels and weren't disappointed."
