"Fabulous. Perfect Bold Coast getaway. Peaceful, spacious, gorgeous property away from it all - but close enough to whatever you may want to see, do, eat or experience. Have been DownEast a few dozen times and will definitely come back to this property. Hosts lovely, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. In particular the trails, water views, sunrise on the front porch, writing nook, fireplace, antique décor and spectacular fall color made leaving very difficult. Well stocked pantry, immaculate and cozy...and not an ounce of fussiness :-)"

"Stayed here for a week and had a great time! The yard was perfect for my dogs and the house has everything I needed and was well kept. The beach in the front yard was amazing and lots of wildlife viewing. Even saw the Milky Way one night! House is within about 90 min of Acadia and the Canadian border so it feels centrally located even if it’s remote! I ate at the wharf a few times and the lobster and crab were amazing!"

"Very convenient to shopping and gas stations, although there isn't a lot to choose from for shopping being a quaint, adorable town with friendly, helpful natives. Very typical of an older motel but super nice people running it. On 9.26.26 the front section was being repaired but this did not cause any noise or inconvenience. It's a little thing but an ironing board and iron would have been appreciated. I would definitely book there again. Super clean!!"

"If you’re considering it, don’t hesitate! Just book the place! The view is incredible, the hosts are amazing, and you won’t get a better deal! This is the real thing, and we will definitely be back! Secluded and cozy. I wanna move in!"

"I looked at lots of pet-friendly places before I stumbled upon this wonderful spot! The location is so peaceful, it’s a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I’m definitely planning to book it again when I’m back in Maine, especially since my fur-baby is welcome!"

"Property was clean and very easy to get to. Directions clear and precise. Cabin was exactly was described on the web site. Clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on the chilly mornings. We would defintstsy here again if in the area."

"We had a great stay at the Stagecoach. The cabin is fun to stay at. It is not far from Acadia National Park. There were a few restaurants nearby including Scovils Millside Dining which had good food at great prices. The cabin was very, very clean. The outside shower was very cool. There was a picnic table and fire pit. The host met us there and went over all of the amenities and how everything works. We loved it."
