"Shower left a lot to be desired. Cold water knob fell off. When turned on not sure if it was from sitting or the shower head but ended up covered with a rust type sludge. I know it’s from the well water but maybe before being occupied if it sat vacant go in and run the shower and clean the shower head."

All amenities were accurate with online property description. Clean, tidy and peaceful! It was great to unplug and unwind here. "This was a small, bare bones rental. Necessities were included such as kitchen supplies, and I appreciated the gallon of water (water super hard) and the full ice trays. WiFi password didn’t work and I attempted to contact host online, but I never heard back. I think they live on the property, but I didn’t want to bother them. I did get a good cell signal. You might want an extension cord if you like to use your electronics in bed. Cabin may fit 6 in a pinch using couch, but more comfortable for...

"The house was nice and the beach was amazing! Our group enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit. It's in a quiet location with groceries about 10 minutes or so away in Rogers City. We would definitely stay here again!"

First time on Black Lake, the periphery of the lake is a little more shallow than neighboring lakes, but once we got used to that we fell in love with it.
