The beds were really comfortable - perfect after a full day out and about. "Carlos greeted us at the property and ensured we knew where everything was in the residence which was well equipped, very clean and next door to a grocery store. Carlos also recommended a great beach called the American Beach nearby and a fabulous Italian restaurant which I lost the receipt for but the food was excellent and incredibly reasonable. Carlos and Silvana are great hosts and deserving of their rating as Superhosts. Would recommend them to anyone staying in the area. "

"We received an email from the hotel before our stay telling us to simply reply to the email with any questions we may have. We did reply, with a few questions and never heard from them. Second, we couldn't find any parking spaces available around the hotel so we parked in the garage below the hotel. We had a 6:30 am flight and so at 5am we were trying to exit the garage using a machine at the exit. We were not told ahead of time how to do that, and despite our many efforts were not able to exit the garage. We finally found a hotel staff member at that hour, and she told us what to do, but it did not work. We found her again and she said she would push a button and we would be able to exit. This also did not work in the beginning but it finally did work, but this was also a negative experience. Third, we were told there would be coffee available at that early hour, but it was not available."

"Great hotel, not too far from either train station. Staff are lovely. Breakfast was great, loads of choice. Only downside was our room, which despite being the largest room in the hotel, felt very impersonal and clinical, and the toilet flush was damaged, though it did work. Also we were in the eaves, so very little view or natural light. Access to the swimming pool was a bonus! Loved Montecatini, would stay again, but in a different room."
